As you know they continued to work with each other on The Webseries Venice, The Grove (A Mini Movie). Jessica acts in commercials/adverts and works with Crysal behind the scenes.

How is a storyline that has been going on for a year rushed? 🤔 Lisa never struggled with whether or not she had feelings for Carla, it was always about her being scared to open up again after her wife’s death and not wanting to upset Betsy. With carla having almost died and Roy basically telling her that Betsy will one day leave her and she’d be alone, it makes complete sense that she would rush over to tell Carla how she feels after being terrified for so long. Obviously the storyline has just started and there is still a lot to come (which we know from spoilers) so this is clearly just the beginning. Lisa still hasn’t filly overcome her grief and the only reason Betsy is suddenly on board with their relationship is because she doesn’t want Carla to rat her out.

However, Since the kiss I thought there would have been more toing and froing and conversation before the start of a relationship. So I think as there had been no talk of dating, relationships previously it was a bit rushed. Although, are they dating rather than being in a relationship. However, I think Carla is so confident in her sexuality that it's as simple as her having really strong feelings for this beautiful woman. Maybe those conversations will come or maybe it just doesn't need to be such a big deal. I agree with trouble coming about not being honest with Lisa about Betsy. That can't be a strong foundation for a healthy relationship. Getting off with a lie as important as this
