Only thing it was missing that some research showed was that when you click 'Restore iPhone' (at least for me), I needed to hold option on my mac (or alt on windows), then while holding click the restore. That did the trick. Otherwise I got an error. Thank you again for this. Super helpful!
Once you do this will it delete all the apps you had from 18.2 and the data from them? I just did the downgrade and all my apps minus the texts and photos are gone.

Yeah, I’m on a 16 pro max and the battery life on the 18.2 is so bad.
I haven't got the 18.2 update yet, I am on 15 Plus.
It’s in beta mode for iPhone 15 and up.
