- The 32nd State Level Hojagiri Festival, hosted in the culturally rich region of Ramguna, Unakoti, Tripura, promises an unforgettable celebration of BRU tradition and heritage. This grand opening marks a significant event in the state’s cultural calendar, paying tribute to the ancient and vibrant Hojagiri dance, a unique folk performance by the BRU/ REANG community.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Unakoti, the festival offers an immersive experience into the BRU way of life. Hojagiri, known for its mesmerizing balance and agility, will be performed by skilled dancers, primarily women, balancing earthen pots on their heads while gracefully moving to the rhythmic beats of traditional instruments.
