That dude who took his headphones off during the solo? He’s got several Grammy awards on his mantle. And Cory Henry blew HIS mind! 😮
Cory Henry blew all minds who ever listened to this. And it's not the only time this band has done it. One of the top bands in existence. What they do is something else we'll never hear anyone else do.
My favorite comment for this performance; "I hope those instruments were over 18". I had to laugh.
To play two keyboards like that is INSANE!!!!!! He's a GOAT!
I'm a musican and have been one literally since before I started forming memories and this is insane. It makes me feel like a minor anime character. People should not be able to do what they did here. It's superhuman. Like, if batman was real and I met him I'd be like, "Shut up, bitch. Listen to Snarky Puppy." They're geniuses of the highest order. That they found each other and created music like this is a gift that the rest of us don't even deserve.
Snarky is SO tight and funky. 'Lingus' is mind-blowing. Can you imagine reading this chart? WOW!
The headphones are because this is them recording the album. Folks with red headphones are in the band and folks with grey headphones are the audience.

Also, there are a million great things about this band, but one thing that might interest you is that Larnell Lewis (you reacted to him learning Enter Sandman on the drums a couple years ago) learned the whole album on the plane ride over to the recording session.
