If your on A tighter budget and already have a desktop pc or laptop you can just buy A drawing tablet like A wacom, entry level ones start at about £90.

You can try vellum (glassine) bags if you want a eco-friendly solution, they’re not fully waterproof though but they do offer some protection to a little bit of moisture

I used eco friendly almost like little parchment paper it’s like a little bag that folds over. Not waterproof but I never had a problem

You don't need an ipad, just get a stylus for your phone (unless it comes with one like the samsung note series do) and the ibis paint X app which is available for android and ios (and probably others but idk). No need to pay 500 bucks for an ipad, just get a stylus and the free ibis paint X app and ur good to go. I use it for my stickers and it works great
i’m starting a sticker business soon but i haven’t decided a name for my etsy shop *just* yet. I’m gonna have a bunch of sticker sheets themed around spiritual stuff eventually, and a bunch of die-cuts of random things i like lol

Have you ever thought about using your rollo printer to do your thank you cards? Like print the sticker and throw it on an index card????
You definitely could! At this point I usually order thank you cards on Vista Print and make it an art piece on one side and a thank you on the other so that people don’t just throw it away! :)

Hi Hannah, thanks for all the useful information and sharing your experience. Since you have 2 businesses, would you just need them tied to 1 LLC ( or other business) or would you need 2 licenses? I want to sell digital prints/ posters for wall art and home decor, and another shop for my personal style of cute stickers, pins, prints, cards, etc. Since they will be 2 very different styles, I think I should create 2 shops. I was going to include my name in both. So would I be able to keep them both under 1 LLC for my graphic design?
You should charge $1.39 for shipping. That’s why they call it “shipping & handling” to cover the cost of the packaging.

Yes! I started my business from scratch, but made lots of behind the scenes videos on TikTok. Those videos got a lot of traction and I started getting a lot of sales. I would say it took about a month before I had consistent sales.
I have no idea what the laminating sheets are for. Will there be a tutorial?

I get mine off of Etsy for a few dollars, so some that I like on there are called Branchy (AndreStudioArt) and Wished (KAFontDesigns). I can't remember exactly which one I used, but these are very similar if not the one. You can also search "Retro Font" on Etsy and they will pop up!
You can also get a free one (for personal use only) from dafont called Duke Charming!
About the printer, how often do u buy cartridges? Does it get expensive with the ink?

How do you pay the postage and do the labels? I've been trying to figure out the cost of shipping a mailer like you're. using but I feel like I must be looking in the wrong place on USPS because I am not seeing it
I have heard good things about Envy printer. But that because it doesn't have a rear entry tray you can't use thicker card stock or sticker paper like Circuit Sticker paper? Is this true.

Of stickers.. I just have couple concerns and questions for example I have pets of my own.. when drawing them might look similar to others pets stickers what can I do
As long as you're drawing them I wouldn't worry about it! I think there are artists with similar styles, but there is room for everyone! Nobody is going to be upset that your dog drawing looks like someone else's! Go for it! :)

You could get a ups account. I just ask them for shipping labels and they send them free!

I don’t know how to draw well but I love digital design :( do you know if some people draw over stuff to draw it but put their own twist to it?😅😅is it hard to draw on procreate ?
Yes! It’s actually easy to start out by importing a picture and tracing & putting your own touch on it! Then you can start experimenting when you’re more comfortable with drawing! 😊 procreate is so good to start drawing on! Much less complicated than if you tried something like photoshop!

Try wax paper. Make your own bags. Or tissue paper.
Instead of cellophane bags you could use beeswax coated paper!

If you buy the commercial license! Sometimes you'll be able to buy a personal use font but that just means you can use it, it doesn't mean you can make money using it! :)

Hi! Did you register your business before launching it on Etsy? I was planning to start a business like this! :)
It depends on where you live whether or not you’ll have to register as a business. Some places you need to register to be a sole proprietorship. If you want to form an LLC then you will need to do that before you start making money with your Etsy shop.

Hi, I don't have An Ipad so I use my laptop.is it okay to use fonts from these apps for business or will that get you in trouble related to copyrights?
It depends on the website you're using to make your stickers. Some give you commercial rights and some don't. I would also look in to getting fonts from a website where you can buy the rights to use commercially!

I think there is a Cricut Design Space app on the Google Play store! I'm not 100% sure how it works, though! I only have an iPad.
I have both and I prefer silhouette because Silhouette software is way better, Cricut design space is so limited. Also, you can't print then cut the full page with Cricut, and it's such a waste of paper. I only use my Cricut for vinyl work and making written cards.
I agree with that! I love the software that Silhouette has, but I have had so many problems with my machine cutting and aligning and printing from the software that it's not worth it for me anymore if I can get enough orders to outsource!
Cellophane bags are meant to be biodegradable and compostable. They're made from cellulose fibre which is renewable. If your bags won't compost, then they're not cellophane bags.

If you can design using shapes you can do that, too!
