I remember in the early 70's, at the Disneyland Hotel Station, you could buy a ticket to ride the monorail all the way thru Disneyland round trip. You would be seated at the tail. The tail doors would not open at Tomorrowland Station, not until you arrive back to the Hotel Station. The ticket was about $3.75 to ride. 🚄
Rides in the nose are so cool and fun to watch, and things fly by. Years ago, I got a ride in the Monorail when the nose area had the driver up in a bubble with two seats next to them. Sitting up there was really fun, but it was hot in the summer.
Very Cool back in 1968 I first went to Disneyland when I was 7 yrs old and the monorail blew me away. Tomorrowland was so Cool back then. I loved the circlerama theatre. I would love to see the controls behind you of the monorail 🚝. Good Stuff Fresh Baked 👍
My dad took me on the monorail when I was 4 (1988) and he was trying to get me to look at the park but instead I was completely blown away when I saw the golden arches at McDonalds across the street and wouldn't shut up about it for the rest of the ride

Can confirm. This was the first thing we did after arriving at our hotel on our yearly vacation. So awesome.
Good job Freshbaked (David) got the ride through Disneyland monorail at the tail end.

Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
Monorail Blue is just... so, so, SO SHINY! I love it!
Nose rides at sweet, did a night one once, pure magic
I rode in the nose in 2016. Love that this is open again

I rode in the nose about 10 years ago; never ridden in the tail. Now I have to give it a try 🙂
I loved seeing rides in both the tail and nose. We will try for both in October.
I miss the Monorail, and Seattle’s Monorail is not the same.
Love riding the monorail. Thanks for taking us along. That was fun!!!
FRESHBAKED is DISNEYLAND!!
Wonderful, wish the PM, and SkyWay was as much a staple as the Monorail and they would still be around.
This was extra magical! Made my day! Thanks Fresh Baked!

I so want to ride in the nose or tail during my next trip.
Hey Fresh Baked!!
FreshBaked. David, so good I'm off to watch it all again. Cheers, Chris Perry
I tried to ride in the nose on Sunday the 27th, but it was DNR.
Was it Monorail Red? Dave said recently that Monorail is not ready for passengers yet!
@@pinball541 I don’t think so. I asked, and they said they weren’t loading the front that day.
Love the nose and tail! Huge shame the monorail doesn't stop at the Grand Californian
I am glad monorails nose reopens to the Public
Hi Dave, happy Wednesday
Did Liz shoot the tail section of the monorail and David shoot the front cab
I know they only let you sit in front for 10 mins. But you could run this footage backwards and at double speed just for fun. 😃
What would that much land in Disneyland and DCA and Downtown Disney and all the parking cost now if it were just an open field? It boggles the mind.
How is it different that before?
It is not.
So there's no audio in the rear of the monorail?
There was, but the volume was very low. Either the volume needed turned up, or the speakers need to be replaced.
The volume is always low in the nose and tail.
