Have every Esee knife there is and love all of my fixed blades. I am especially partial to my Esee 4 HM.
Just got the esse 6 with custom micaeda and the stock esse 4 hm. Loving them what great knives.
How has your PR4 held up brother?
@@slavvings Has held up great. I have had zero issues with any of my Esee knives.
I only own 3 fixed blade knives . ESSE 4 , Chris Reeve Green Beret 5.5" Plain Edge , and Spartan Enyo. The Enyo is my EDC . ESSE 4 is my outdoor knife . The CRGB is my go to war knife .
If I could only pick 1 it would for sure be my ESSE 4
The ESEE 6 and Izula II were my first ESEE knives. The lineup has grown from there.
You forgot my favorite, the Esee 6!
I have the Izula-II, ESEE 3 and 5. Got my eye on a few other models! Fit, form, function...no frills.
What's your favorite ESEE?
Esee 3 my favorite edc!!!
What about the esee 6
Pr 4
My esee 3 Beretta edition!
Esee 6
I love all of mine the Izula, 3, 4 and 6. Looking to add a Junglas II next month. That said my Izula is my EDC fixed blade.
Hello my friend, thank you for sharing this very informative video. Esee certainly has a great lineup of knives for nearly all Outdoors people. All the best to you. Please keep up the great reviews. 🤗
Esee 5 mine has been my go to for last few years
When I’m going into the woods and need to potentially cut alot of wood I go with the Esse 6 with knife connection micaeda and kydex sheath with fire starter and pack additions. When going on lite hikes I go with the esse 4hm. When I’m fishing I go with the mora companion in carbon steel with a forced Patina so it does not rust badly.
I have the 4 and izula with extended handle. My favorite knives I own.
Nice looking knives. I'd like a large blade like that last one, but just a bit thicker. 1/4 is my preference.
Er, what about the 6"?
They’re awesome knives. Pretty impressed with mine.
Very nice line up
Awesome Knife reviews!!!😊👍
What no 6, can 't believe that!!!!
Cheers Mate! What do you reckon of the 4 & 6 ?
I have the 4 and honestly, it sucks. I’d go for the 6 if I was buying one again.
@@shamitosonwhy does it suck? I was eyeballing it.
@@3091181 it’s too expensive for cheap 1095 steal. Thin blocky, very uncomfortable scales for any use more than 5 min. Choil that not only wastes blade length and is useless on a 4 inch blade, but I’ve cut myself trying to use it. Coating to protect the very rust prone 1095 that won’t strike a fero rod. It’s basically an upgraded Becker. If that’s what you’re coming from then you’ll probably love it. IMO esee are highly overrated. Depends what your use case is of course. For me it’s firecraft and the esee 4 is not good at that. I’d look elsewhere if that’s the intended role. There’s so many better options these days. Esee is kinda stuck in 1995.
nice video! is it safe to use the esee 3 with the coat for food prep?
Totally forgot about the esee 4
ESEE 4 is my personal favorite.
My Esee 4 HM is my personal favorite and I own them all.
Esee3HM👍💣🖤, BK14👍💣🖤
I just buy them all.
ESSE 4 is my EDC and my ESSE 6 is strapped to my pack.
No 6????
I have a junglas it’s the best $ I’ve ever spent
ESEE 4 is the best EDC
Very nice!
My 3 is totally frustrating. Perhaps it is my sheath but the knife is almost impossible to remove from the sheath. I never use it and regret buying since it I can’t remove from the sheath. All videos I’ve seen about this knife show it easy to remove but I’ve handed it to a dozen people and nobody can remove it. Perhaps I need to be King Arthur.
I had to file down the little nubs that hold the knife in. Just file a little and keep checking. Don’t want to go too far. Hope this helps.
A little late to the party, but perhaps you could loosen the sheath at the retention points a bit.
Wrap the knife in several coats of plastic wrap.
If the sheath is kydex, heat it up then insert the (plastic wrapped) knife and let the kydex cool back down to room temperature.
If the sheath is leather, insert the plastic wrapped knife into the sheath and let it sit in the freezer over night. Remove the plastic wrap from the knife to test the sheath/retention. If it’s still stiff after this, double the amount of plastic wrap and repeat. This method works excellently on stiff gun holsters.
Put your purse down
How’s the esee pr4 and the esee ashley game??
Heckuva lineup
Personally I have a unfounded hate for Esse knives, partly due to the coating used and the how bad they rust. I don't know lately I've been wanting to play with the Esse 5.
Me too. Hate coating and IMO 1095 is a poor choice for small blades. A large chopper, sure. I do like the junglas. But to me the izula is kinda dumb. Soft, rusty, poor edge retention steel just doesn’t make sense for an edc.
@@shamitosonin my personal case my Izula II has been a great companion for years, actually have not been able to replace it, I bought the CR 2.5 which is a very very capable little knife, I am going to add to my collection a Joker Erizo and a Nieto grillo, have not used them yet but take a look, I am sure they could work for you. I may say that I am not a fan for the esee coating but the knifes are amazing I also have the Esee 3 in venom green and orange G10 handles and really like it, could be a one knife quiver!. The PR4 will keep for ever, is like my Buck 110 a must have. It is true that you have to take care of your Esee knives but I enjoy doing it too. So many knives so little time to use them…
Sky dive. It has three points for fall.
Damn it! I was trying to avoid you! I really can't buy anymore knives!
👍👍💯💯
I have the bs. Everything it you need it it will help or die.. I have all the knives but In the woods it's not the knife. Haha
The RB three is garbage
Who wants a knife that’s going to rust?
You've never owned an esee
@@gigapacI do, the 4 and I hate it. Rusty, blocky, horrible choil, poor edge retention. 1095 is great for large blades, but IMO a poor choice for sub 6 inch knives.
@@gigapac I have this exact knife and after 2 camping trips there is rust at the base of the knife by the handle.
@@xmateinc that's on you clean and dry your blade
@@gigapac i clean and dry my blades all the time. This is the only one to rust with just a little weather exposure.
