- This 1994 Harley Davidson FXR belonged to my dad, who tragically lost his life while riding his motorcycle on October 20, 2018. Six years later, I am taking on the project of restoring and rebuilding this bike in his honor. Join me in this project, and together we can honor those who've lost their lives far too soon while doing what they love most.
RIP to your pops! Restoring that bike for him would definitely make him proud! Respect! 🫡 👊
Thank you! That is my hope! 👊
It’s a beautiful bike. I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m glad you were able to get your dad’s bike. I’ll be following along.
@@LonnaRaeDHD thank you, that means a lot. It’s exciting to be able to work on this bike now, I’ve been wanting to do this for years
@@Liberty_Ranch rebuilding and restoring things has a lot more meaning when it has sentimental value. We tend to take more care in those kinds of projects.
@@LonnaRaeDHD 💯!!!
The black and gold looks brilliant mate. Gotta keep that colour scheme in honour of your Dad. Just my opinion. (I’m probably biased though - I ride a black and brass FXST)
And do the natural upgrades that would have occurred…he’ll continue to guide you. Sick sled!
Thank you I’m debating that. That’s a nice color scheme for your bike sounds pretty sweet
I subscribed to follow the build process. Sad to hear another rider gone to soon. God bless and looking forward to future video's brother.
@@lespaul1648 Thank you for the support!

Thank you, I appreciate that. Will do 👍
Sorry for your loss. Rebuilding the bike will definitely great therapy.

Thanks means a lot man🙏🏼🙏🏼Hope to make him proud
Is the bike cursed now though ? Like james deans porshe , its a real thought
@@garyny4073 valid point and it has crossed my mind. My gut tells me it’s something I need to do though, and I pray and trust in God’s timing for my life
Sorry for your loss. Respect, r.i.p to your father...subcribed
Thanks man, I appreciate it
It’s crazy how this video landed on my feed. I lost an uncle when I was kid, his girlfriend gave my dad his kickstand and the bike was repaired then sold. Always wanted to track it down and bring it home but cannot find the vin. I just subscribed and will be following this if you need a hand sourcing parts let me know and I’ll try to help. ML&R.
@@21Fxlrs I’m sorry to hear about your uncle. I hope you’re able to find it someday. Sometimes things work out that way. Thanks for the support and the offer to source parts, I’ll keep that in mind. It can be hard to find parts for sure
@@Liberty_Ranch sorry for your loss, lost my dad recently due to health issues. Still have his bike along with my low rider.
@@21FxlrsI’m so sorry to hear that. Losing a dad is tough man. I’m glad you got to keep his bike. Stay safe out there
Tuned in for the rebuild! May your father rest in peace and be your motivation in the build!
Hey thanks man. I hope you enjoy the build! Thanks for the support 👊
Im in brother! Good luck, god bless.
@@petergarside2341 thanks man! God bless
I’m so sorry for the tremendous loss. It is such a gorgeous bike. What a beautiful way to honor dad.
I have to say I get nervous whenever my motorcycle man is on the road and especially here in so cal. Then mini motorcycle man who loves to ride. I say lots and lots of prayers however I would never want to take their freedom away. We raised our boys on dirt bikes so of course they still love bikes.
The cross next to his bike and images at the end are so touching.
thank you for the kind words 🙏 It can be a challenge, balancing the fear of the unknown with the need for freedom that bikes bring. All we can do is pray, as really not much in this world is in our control. Enjoy life while we still have it ☺
Wow!
I'm sure your dad will be much more proud of you once you finish with this project. Keep going and Thanks for sharing this.
Ride Forever! 🙏🏽
Thanks for the encouragement!
I miss my dad too. Honor him bro👍
Thank you for that. I’m sorry you no longer have your dad either.
Sorry for your loss, avid rider with a couple HD’s in my garage so I understand the risk we all take, make that a tribute bike he’d be proud of!!!Some irony in finding your tribute build and the name Liberty Ranch. My dog rides a sidecar motorcycle with me and she was given hours/days to live. Like the gold on the bike she is a beautiful golden, her name is Liberty. I look forward to watching what you do with the bike, although not an FXR one of my bikes is a dyna so pretty similar.
That is awesome dude, it sounds like Liberty is living her best life. I hope she’s doing ok and lives a long life. Glad you’re here, thanks for the support. My main ride is a Dyna too. Ride safe brother
I just got my first Harley and these Bike bring everyone closer together…. Something special 😊about HD
I agree with you 100%. Ride safe brother and congrats on the new bike!
Im here for it. Im sorry about your Dad. He had a cool Harley for sure. I'm sure he would want you to do this and enjoy the bike. Theres healing in bike building.
@@Notakebacks-sy6ji thank you, that means a lot. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time and I’m really looking forward it
God Bless your Dad and you. He will be with you whenever you ride the bike!
Thank you 🙏🏼 I can’t wait for that first ride on this bike
