Also the mositure surge line is a booster for hydration it is not a 'll one designed to be used alone. The moisture surge cream should have been applied after your regular moisturizer to seal in hydration and give you the " boost" ln hydration the line is known for. The moisture surge eye should be paired under eye cream for example all about eyes rich texture. Apply the moisturizer surge eye first and then apply eye cream on top.
Your only supposed to use a pea size amount. Regardless of if you see the beads or not your supposed to emolsifi it between your fingers to break the Micro spheres and then apply. You will feel the difference in texture when you do this right between your fingers.
I’m 51 years old and have just started using it and my skin sucks it up so quickly. So maybe it’s better for more mature skin as it needs more moisturising rather than younger skin.
I have mega oily skin, I’m a 30 year old male with aging signs under my eyes. This works perfect and instantly. I put it on and by the time I’m dressed, my puffy eyes are completely gone for the day. No clue if actually helps your skin or if it’s a “wash off lose benefits” type of product.
Try applying it before your actual moisture surge! It's always recommended to use lighter products first! It is tacky, because it's meant to be under a hydrator!
Ah interesting, I’ll give that a go! I’ve always been told with Clinique specifically that the 3-step system shouldn’t be broken up and then the eye creams and serums always come after the moisturiser so I was following that logic but very good point!
Amy Astrid we study at school that serums always come before any moisturizing product because the molecules of a serum are so tiny that they can absorb into the skin more than a moisturizer so if you’d use a serum after your moisturizer, it wouldn’t do much for your skin. (I’m in the last year of school for estheticians in EU)
Samanta Rizzi that makes complete sense, just not what I’ve been told by Clinique about how to use this specific product but it sounds like you definitely know what you’re talking about! Good luck with your final year- that’s so exciting!
They taught us how to show off this product at our counters and their main stress was that it goes under moisturizers! It's just too thin and the molecular structure is too small to fight through the moisturizer! I've always been taught serums and lighter product first, and then the heavier! I hope it ends up working for you!
thank you, my only comment (if your taking feedback) is this is waaaaaay too long. I would suggest (esp with folks focusing during pandemic), to do this review in 4 minutes or less. For sure! thanks! appreciate the info. Worked for ABC news yrs ago: quick, focus, tell story, and off you go. thanks!
Hi, Amy!!! I have a question... Have the little spheres ever came out?? I want to buy this product because I got a sample... the presentation of the sample is different so the little spheres do come out...
Hi Amy, I am new to your channel, but I like your videos very much, I am a huge Clinique fan. Regarding eye creams from Clinique, my absolute favourite is the All About Eyes. There are two versions of that, the normal, and the Rich. Interestingly, the basic one works much better than the Rich, their textures are also quite different. I am 35, and have used eye creams since my twenties, and contrary to your application method, I am basically drowning my eyes in the creams :D Anyhow, my skin concerns are mostly anti-aging and maximizing moisturisation as my skin tends to be dry. For these concerns, the All About Eyes cream worked the best. It is really balmy, not a gel, so it might not sink in easily into your skin, but it is not at all tacky like a primer / jelly type Clinique stuff / glue. It is really comfortable, for you it might work as a night eye cream. The Rich version is not at all balmy, it is a cream that sinks in, period. I have yet to try out this Moisture Surge 96-hour eye gel, there is a mini version coming along with my latest Clinique order. :)
Thanks for watching the video Szilvia and welcome to my channel! ☺️ That sounds really great, thanks for the recommendation. I’ve been using a dermalogica eye serum and cream lately which I’m getting on well with but maybe I’ll try the All About Eyes once that’s finished. Hope you get on well with the moisture surge eye cream!
Thanks for making this i’ve been trying to decide between the moisture surge 96 hour formula and the all about eyes so this is very helpful!! also would you consider doing a video on the elf cosmetics Hydrogel under eye masks and other eye masks that really work??
Hi! I wanted to ask you if you can review the cleansing sonic brush with the regular brush head and then they sensitive one? And can you do video on the importance of the three-step and if we need to use the yellow moisturizer before Moisture Surge?
Hey! I actually was going to do a sonic brush review but then I thought they’d discontinued it. The main difference between the brush heads is that while the regular brush is soft (that’s the one I use), the extra gentle head has much finer bristles so they’re even softer on the skin. I think the sonic brush is great, it’s the best thing I’ve ever bought for my skin. As for the 3-step, I did actually do a video last week comparing moisture surge and dramatically different and talked a little about the 3-step in that video. Personally, I find it a little unnecessary to layer moisturisers and would rather just use a more hydrating one (moisture surge) but then layer that with a serum for added benefits. I’ve seen some people in the comments say that they’ve been told on counter that they have to use dramatically different with the 3-step and then use any other moisturiser on top of that but I remember being told at my Clinique training that the dramatically different was designed to work with the 3-step but you can swap it out for any moisturiser you like best. So I think really it’s just down to personal preference and finding what works for you 💗
@@AmyAstridBeauty Oh, that's all great information, thank you! Yes, in our area they always tell you that you have to use the 3-step with a dramatically different moisturizer and then put another moisturizer on top. I'm glad that you were trained in something else because what you learned makes more sense. 🙂
Is interesting to see that she uses the “Clarifying lotion” as a toner. Is an outdated skin care product that Clinique insist on keep having. When you had a product that is basically alcohol it ruins your whole skin care routine. I used the Moisture Surge Lotion as a toner (basically that is what it is) and is alcohol free.
irafa2 usually I totally agree and don’t often get on with products which have alcohol in them but I really notice a difference with breakouts you my skin when I don’t use the clarifying lotion. It’s not a toner but a liquid exfoliant. They have an alcohol free version too. Love the moisture surge lotion!
Amy Astrid I understand. It was the same for me since I have a very oily T-zone and their clarifying lotions seemed to work until one day it didn’t. After a lot of research I discovered that the Clarifying Lotion was actually breaking away the natural moisture barrier (that is why the skin seems so clean). In my case it puts my skin in over drive with the oil production. I opted instead for the Moisture Surge Lotion and also I added a BHA exfoliant which have done miracles in my skin. Not from Clinique since they seem not to have one but from Paula’s Choice. Thanks for your quick reply!
Thank you I’m glad I watched this because I don’t like tacky feeling serums I feel like they don’t absorb that’s why they’re sticky if it absorbed it would melt straight into the skin if you are like me you will like the shisiedo benefiance eye serum and if you want t spend the extra the shisiedo future lx but the reason I was looking to purchase the one you reviewed was because it was recommended to me
My experience with the Moisture Surge 96 hour was GREAT. If you use just a tiny drop and emolsify between fingers as directed, it is NOT STICKY and works very quickly! I have tried so many of these types of products and few worked so quickly, if at all. THIS WORKS great .. just follow the instructions..if you use too much it will be sticky. I apply it immediately after I clean my face and eyes. By the time I start my makeup it is totally absorbed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND :)
Hello can you please reply I want to know if this helps with dark circles too ? I have put so much money on this so I want to know if it is worth it like does this ? Do you still use it ? Pleaseee help
Sorry I'm just seeing this now! I As far as I know, the product isn't aimed at dark circles specifically, but does hydrate the undereye which will help with plumpness of the skin there. So basically, as far as I'm aware it should help a little but is not targeted at dark circles.
Hi I'm new in your channel. Love the video. I use the it's all about eyes rich (I'm 35 and i have normal and T zone oily) i just bought that serum precisely because of the hidration undereyes. I'll try it only at night and a friend told me to also use it on my elbows which are very dry. I'll give you a feedback afterwards.
cristinamerlini welcome to my channel! Thanks for your comment. I’ll be interested to hear what you think of the serum. I’ve heard great things about all about eyes!
I bought it after the Clinique tech applied it on my eyes and she said what’s left on your Q-tip use it on your lips . I love it !
That’s such a good tip! Thank you!

This product claims to be tighting too did you see that effect on you?

Mark Townsend that sounds great! Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I’m glad you love it ☺️
This product was a bit sticky for me as well. I find Clinique All about Eyes cream to be the best for puffiness & hydration
I have oily skin and this works great for me. I would say it's not for dry skin.

Do you think is it suitable for 21 years old?
Thanks for your video

Lmao this was filmed before the pandemic....
What nerve 🤣
Have you ever tried the All About Eyes Serum with the rollerball applicator? I’ve been searching for reviews on that product.
I like the serum with the roller SO much better.
Hey, so just FYI I shook the container before I used it and the beads came out.
I’m young and have normal/oily skin, and yet it sinks into my skin :o
Could Meghan review the Moisture Surge 100h? My skin is exactly like hers and I’m hoping it hydrates well :)
You are gorgeous ❤️ i also pumped way too much at first to get the beads and didn't 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Why do they recommend you use it twice a day when it is supposed to last 96 hours?
Because MOST people wash their faces at least twice in a day. So if you wash off the product once, you’ll need to apply it again.

Doesn’t it work for eyes puffiness?
Love your videos
Definitely sticky but I like it.
Have you tried the all about eyes rich?
Its to much fir me but you say you like it thick
Is it better than pep eye start ?!
How often do you recommend using it?

U talk too much
Thanks for the feedback Umreen! It’s my channel and I like to have a chat and give all the information I can so I don’t think I talk too much 🙂
It’s a review you dope. She’s supposed to talk about the product in detail.
