I would agree for Physs but Jimmy is a big fan of Rubix though, he gave him the W for a battle event organized by his own crew. So I guess he’s quite objective, every judge has their criteria. It’s the game 🤷🏾♂️
I preferred Rubix rounds aside from Gonzy's bird round (which Rubix replied to with his grizzly round). Good battle nevertheless, thanks for uploading and hosting!

Rubix is beastly, so athletic and high musicality. I like how different gonzys rounds were, hes really skilled, creative and autentic. Overall amazing exchange. But after the 3rd round I wish the reliance on power moves and ground moves was less.
imo doing facial expressions and mouthing lyrics is not dancing, it's contemporary art or even acting. Much of his variety comes from elements that are not strictly dancing.
@@daytona-x7b Actually, mouthing and facial expressions is considered a part of dancing! Even in Hip Hop! In case you don’t believe me, you should check Evion’s round when he was against Rochka (its a one round each battle so its short) All depends on the context in which you use it and how you actually play around without interrupting your flow!
@@youmademecringe3225 It's just a cheap method to pad out the set when youve got nothing else to do. Just because Evion did it has nothing to do with anything. If you have to use acting to express yourself on the dancefloor you're failing as a dancer. It's two separate artforms. And yes a lot of dancers do it, but a lot of dancers are not great.
@@daytona-x7b I am not saying that everyone who does it is great, you’re completely misunderstanding what I am trying to say, obviously some ‘dancers’ use acting and facial expression to try to randomly make some shit out and hope to mothafickin chronos for all i know that this bs would work, but what I am trying to point out, is that facial expression and mouth movements can be used if its used right which in that case is considered as hip hop dancing, I gave Evion’s example where he used his face and mouth to add onto his movements, instead of literally trying to base this whole facial expression thing on a part of a freestyle, which in that case will obviously make anyone awkward. So yeah, Evion’s case in that battle I referenced, is indeed relevant.
Gonzy is a solid dancer and his creativity is dope but, he's usually a bit too experimental for me (my smooth brain finds it difficult). Rubix performed phenomenally well and his fluid continuous dance is always a pleasure to watch. Thanks BTM for providing us with excellent content once again.
much love to gonzy. with that being said a tie was debatable and the musicality rubix was hitting in that last round was crazy, arguably his best round, gonzy’s last round wasn’t his best. so how was it a draw then a win for gonzy? no disrespect, judging just didn’t seem consistent lol
It's not purely about technique, musicality or execution like traditional battles. This battle is more about experimentation and exploration. I liked the danger if the concept in 29:19 - 29:24 And i think what separated gonzy was how much risk he was willing to take in comparison to rubix. Rubix took a lot of risk too, don't get me wrong, i just think gonzy was specifically focusing on things he doesn't use in battle
Musicality focusing on hitting the beat. Musicality is when you freely flow through music without being concerned to check the usual beatkills with the usual moves. Rubix has to learn to be patient and stop focusing on beatkills. That would be his final form.
@@iudexCervello danger has to pay off. At the time that you specified he literally threw a big move that didnt end up fitting the song. @@daytona-x7b this is btm experience so no, it doesn't necessarily have to pay off, it just has to show potential. Basically this battle is about who explores their elements the most and shows off their levels in vocabulary.
