When you think about it, it actually makes sense. If he destroyed the fnaf 1 animatronics that must be after you play in fnaf 1. So technically he should've died like in 1997 much later than you'd think he would have died
William and michael were the last to die, and that was in fnaf 6 when they were burned but William came back in glitch form as we know. but if we talk about if michael was scooped before William died, it makes sense, since we can see when we get fired at the fnaf local (we are Michael) for reasons, and one of the reasons was because of the "odor" so this confirms that michael was scooped before the 1993 store opened and William dies after the store closed, and the theory that michael was scooped after 1993 doesn't make sense.

But if Michael's sitting inside the suit, that means that there's no dead body inside of it, meaning that William is still alive.

Currently that michael is scooped up before william dies makes more sense than the theory that William died before michael is scooped up... why?, as hand unit says, "a restaurant recently closed", it implies that SL happens months after a restaurant closes and we have 3, the original from 1985, the one from fnaf 2 from 1987 and the one from fnaf 1 from 1993, Mike Smith (I don't know how to spell it) I mean michael afton, goes to work at the local from fnaf 1 and when he is fired the check says the cause, and says "odor"... if Michael was already scooped before fnaf 1, Fritz Smidth the guard from fnaf 2 is fired for the same reason coincidentally... it makes me believe that fritz is michael so yes, michael must have been scooped in 1985-1986, I clarify that William dies in 1993-1994. @@demetricemcneal8026 Actually, in almost every other au, almost everyone blames Michael for their deaths, William abused Michael for no reason (in some Aus, William puts Mike in an asylum/ mental hospital), Michael died last, and the creator put in other little details like William actually being busy with work, blaming himself for the deaths of his family, I mean- he did crate the animatronics that killed all his kids- Oh, and they made it pretty interesting, and not gloomy and depressing all through out the video
