  • We believe Design and Manufacturing should be part of one seamless workflow.
In this presentation, we will show you how to use your existing designs, and generate Computer Aided Machining (CAM) toolpaths, without the hassle of changing software. By utilizing Inventor CAM for manufacturing, there is always direct toolpath associativity with your design model.
Since you already work inside Inventor, you can easily fill holes and pockets as needed for manufacturing. You can also model work-holding components and create fixtures as needed for collision avoidance. When you add this together, you will quickly realize the benefits of working directly inside your modeling environment, not to mention the benefits of a reduced learning curve.
Watch as we introduce you to Inventor CAM and the benefits of CAD-embedded 2.5-axis to 5-axis milling, turning, and mill-turn capabilities.

Very clear and broad explanation of the start-to-finish process of using Inventor CAM. This is just what I was looking for as a brand new user of the software. Thank you!

I'm really amazed by the capabilities of Inventor HSM and how it can perform and simulate complex machining paths. Greetings from Venezuela.

At 43:23 you said you're the only software in the market that has adaptive clearing. Pretty sure the old Mastercam X4 had started using this.

great video, except autodesk has basically said they have absolutely zero plans to continue any development on Inventor HSM/CAM. Fusion, which is awful, will be getting all of their attention.

Seems that way. My company has just got me a ticket of Inventor and the first thing I noticed is the CAM in Fusion seems more updated and user friendly than the much more expensive Inventor Cam. I bet in time the price of Fusion is going to skyrocket, if this is what they are doing.

If your part of a company that doesn't change, I would call you unemployed because that company isn't going to last long.
