Useful🔥🔥🔥🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Very informative sir
Thank you!! super helpful!
Thank you so much
It works 100%
You basically have a max FPS of 100 due to the last limit you set. All those 120FPS limits don't matter if you have the "always limit" at 100. If you have a 144hz monitor, you are wasting FPS that it could deliver. Not to mention WTF do you want higher FPS in menus over actual gameplay???
This is for everyone in the comments, since this guy is giving poor advice, IMO.
Put menus to 60- you don't need high FPS in menus.
Put Background to 60 EDIT: or lower if you like to minimize it a lot, after a double check mine is at 30.
Turn MAX Always - to the Hz (refresh rate) of your screen. (60,75,120,144 . . etc., likely 120/144 if you have a gaming Laptop/monitor) Right click desktop-> Display settings->Advanced Display settings(this shows current refresh rate in Hz) If you think it should be higher or somehow it got lowered. Click on "display adapter properties . . ." and check -> List all modes. Also check the next tab "monitor". Once you have it set to your highest desired refresh rate, that will be the "MAX always" you set in game. Some say to have your FPS double what your monitor is capable of, but if your CPU(or even GPU) is struggling, then that isn't really an option here. You might also want to check the GPU software(not driver). Right click desktop-> Nvidia/AMD-> check the refresh rate in there also, just to be sure. For Nvidia mine is in the Change Resolution section.
If your CPU still struggles, *then* adjust the video quality to MED or LOW
This is a start, but there are many more settings you can play with to get more stable gameplay.
Material Quality: Medium or Low, depending on what typewriter you're playing on ;)
UI Quality: Low
Vignette: Off
V-sync: Off
Bloom: Off
Distortion: Off
Shadows: Off (it doesn't actually turn it off, just lowers quality)
MSAA 2x *or* none
Anisotropic 2x *or* 1x
Enhanced Gun visuals: off
Still more but I'm getting Lazy, hope this helps
Valorant is meant to be "competitive", so if you want to look at a pretty game, assemble/buy a better computer or play a different game. High FPS is what you are shooting for here, take a hit on graphics quality if you need to. Thanks for reading my rant, and good luck out there. :D
EDIT: So after all those changes if you still have high CPU load, you might consider lowering your MAX FPS below your Hz(refresh rate) value. My pet peeve in all this was limiting FPS right off the bat, in a rather ignorant way, to solve an issue that IMO degrades gameplay. If you have to go below 60 though, it's *definitely* time to buy a new computer, otherwise you're likely not going to have a good time playing this game. We are talking split second shots that even a 75hz monitor might cause a slower reaction resulting in "in game death". Also keep in mind that unlike many other games Valorant is more CPU hungry, so when you choose a computer, or the parts for it, maybe go for a better CPU to compensate, if you end up really liking Valorant that much, I know I'm factoring that into my next upgrade.
Also make sure to check your power plan, whether it's performance or not, that may be limiting your CPU also.
Same EDIT: If you have the worst CPU but an awesome GPU & Monitor read below
Since KRUR YODHA complained: I will note that not all graphics changes will lower CPU load. If you are playing on a much older computer, but have a bangin' monitor, setting your FPS to your monitor capabilities may not be the best idea. Although that would also mean your graphics card is good enough to output a high refresh rate for this to be an issue. So if you are the person with a nice gaming monitor and an RTX 3090(basically a much better GPU than CPU) then yeah you have a bottleneck at your CPU, and limiting your FPS, *well below* your monitor and GPU capabilities, will drop the load on your CPU. But if you are in this category, then just buy a better CPU, you obviously can if you spent the money on a nice monitor/GPU that are making your CPU the major bottleneck.
What abt yr hardware. If ur hardware not supporting that much FPS. Dude this video is for low end pc not for professionals . Thank you
@@imkrur I *doubt* you read my whole post if you are asking me about the hardware (and by how quickly you responded). In no way are my settings what "professionals" run their graphics at. My computer is not even close to the best either and this is exactly what I did, it helped a lot. If you have a laptop that games at 120/144 hz then you have the hardware to get there assuming you make adjustments similar to mine. If you spent the money on a 120+Hz monitor, then you likely have the computer hardware to get it to display 120/144hz (which is only 20-44fps higher than what you set yours at, although not in the pointless way you do it, being 120/120/120/MAX100) I suggested many other things to compensate for other hardware shortcomings, so your "critique" is unfounded, maybe try reading the whole thing, please.
If anything, the people who have 60-75hz monitors would limit their Max FPS even more than what you recommended resulting in even lower CPU load.
@@scropx33 Thank you, I'm glad you liked it, your feedback made my day :D
@@XXCoeusXX difference between 144 hz and 100 hz is 3 ms in reaction time. Even if you built your entire rig around low latency, your fluctuations of network lag will likely make that difference completely irrelevant, not to mention that your own bodily reaction time is around 180 ms. If valorant isn't literally your job and you aren't already one of the best players in the world, you won't notice that difference beyond placebo
@@NJ-wb1czPro players have reaction times of 100-250 ms, considering 60 fps= ~16.7 ms per frame why would any gamer of any skill ever want more than 60fps? Considering that an ok internet latency is about 40 ms, why worry about a response time that is less half of what 60hz would be? Hmm? I guess all the tests done showing 60 fps vs 120fps reaction times should be disregarded. Thanks for playing kiddo, you did some simple math but you don't know what you're talking about. Run along now.
abhi bhii views aa rhe he nice krur sir happy for u
Bhai VAN6 k upar bhi bana de yt pe boht videos dekhi but sahi nhi ho rha
Bro the settings u changed is basically limiting the game to use the cpu power while u r alt+tab . What I am saying is use some kind of overlay like afterburner to monitor the real time cpu utilisation while u r actually playing the game. Coz once u r out of the game and checking the task manager the game is gonna apply the settings in order to limit the fps while u r checking the task manager. So try using an overlay to see what's the actual cpu utilisation is while gaming not while tab switching.
Exactly
Thanks for the idea
I have a dual monitor and i checked and it works
@@HNK001 ❤️
@@HNK001 what? how? it didn't work for me. But when disabled the High precision Event Timer the cpu usage decreased a lot. I think this is some bug that intel users experience. I assume you all are intel users.
