Agree with almost everthing you said except the white canada goose coat, it looks so good on you and I think it is a great and classic style for winter even not for sking but everyday look. I used to wear all black in winter but now I think it is depressing to always wear black. I now intentionally put on white or camel color even though my first instinct is still throw on black cloth. Happy winter holiday!
Yes!! Shoes should never be stored in a box!!! Please let us know how to store our items to prevent moisture and other things that could break them down!
I think with the white "ski" coat it looks great! White is white you don't look like a storm trooper is just a "white pop" of color! You can put a neutral color underneath or black and it looks great. I think....at the end of the day....nice purchase! You've got the taste!!!

I always enjoy these videos and agree with all of these. I have always bought leather gloves from Dents. The quality is superb but the prices are very reasonable and they also have very good sales. I have been buying them since the 1980s so I now have every colour in the rainbow. I love Burberry scarves too. They are very expensive but they have been making them for so many decades that you can get preloved ones at much more accessible prices.
The Valentino belt is my most worn accessory - I love it! Love that it’s reversible too. It makes even the most basic t-shirt and jeans outfit look pulled together x
I totally agree with you on jackets. I have a heavy Woolrich parka in black for when it's super cold (Sometimes -32c), a lighter weight beige Woolrich puffer and a thrifted 3/4 length camel coat. They are all going on 5 years old so the cost/wear has been much better than If I bought something from Zara tht would fall apart in a season or two.
Maybe you and Dan can make a video about men’s clothing.. winter coats and jackets, shoes.. I’m always confused about what to get for my husband. Would love to get some ideas from you guys
I bought my Canada Goose jacket in NYC 2 years ago and I love it. It is my only puffer jacket as I am not a huge fan of puffer jackets. I do recommend everyone to invest in a high quality CG if you live in areas with cold winter. I live in Seoul. I plan to get a red CG jacket in a few years. I am happy with only one jacket right now as I own several wool an dmink coats.

Oh that's such a good idea! The black and the white is definitely not working for me haha. It has been the worst weather in the UK this year - although Dan reminded me yesterday was the shortest day of the year which made me so happy haha :)

Winter items are just more expensive, they use more expensive fabric or material (e.g. boots vs. sandals), and more of it, too. Also, they often have more structure, like linings, etc., and the increased labor really adds up. Can you recommend a brand for all wool or wool/cashmere coats that are lined, but not with synthetic fibers? It doesn’t have to be silk, I loved the rayon linings that used to be standard, they’re very breathable, but synthetics aren’t, so I get hot and sweaty in them. Thanks.
I bought my Canadian Goose coat in white last year, and talking about cost per wear. There was none. Some virus came along and shut everything down. Just started to wear it this month (December) and I’m wearing the hell out of it, but here we go again, here in the states. The name we will not say.

When worn with cashmere accessories and wearing the right kind of boots and purse a white Canada goose coat is actually outstanding. I find everyone wears black . Similarly the Canadian winters one has to be dressed warm with windchills going down to -30°C.😀🇨🇦❄️ Hence, I have several different types of coats depending on the occasion, whether it be for sports, daily walks or for going out on the town , of course once this pandemic lifts!

Unfortunately, there is no store in my area that carries S Max Mara only the Max Mara line; therefore, I would have to purchase the coat online and I want to make sure I get the right size.
Do they have puffers without built-in hoods? I hate hoods, my head and face are really small, and they always cover my eyes. I also don’t like the weight of a hood in the back, they make the front of the jacket ride up around my neck. Those do look gorgeous, though.

Hey! I've been meaning to look at puffer jackets. Canada Goose is beautiful but I hate the cruelty aspect. Do you have any other recommendations ? How do you feel about the animal cruelty that goes on behind luxury goods? i always try to buy pre-loved items to combat this.
I just bought one from North Face and I love it. It's made with recycled down so you get all the warmth of real down without the cruelty and your keeping existing down out of the landfills. It was also a lot more affordable than a Canada goose jacket.
Now I am obsessed with that grey Canada goose jacket and NEED it but that color is not available in bloomies, Saks etc where I can get cash back or any discounts. I like the knit cuffs to be fully covered by the outer sleeve. Once they get wet, from rain or melting snow, they are miserably cold to wear.
