Clearing of a blocked drain at the back of a commercial property. there is a back up on a toilet outlet pipe along with a slow flow from one manhole to the next, wounded what it could be?

These are some of my fav unblocking vids. Thank you for making them. An it's really interesting to me seeing how other places do sewer drainage compared to where I live. I wouldn't mind seeing the camera footage of the pipe after and I know there might not be too much to say about I definitely enjoy a little commentary

That must have been one sadistic ironmonger who designed that manhole cover. Not only did he take a perfectly functional round design and add unnecessary tabs in so you have to rotate it into place, he then decided that the tabs must alternate between thick and thin heights to make you rotate it another 60 degrees to drop it in the frame.

Did you never think about clearing the outlet properly before bringing more down ?

when you have a thick blocked like at 8:40, why would you not stop there and just dump a lot of water down the drain to loosen it up?

I hope you recommended to the the owners that they have that whole system ripped up and replace with a system which falls properly. Either that or they put you on a weekly contract to come and keep moving the piles of sludge which will inevitably KEEP building back up. Also tell them to put signs in each cubicle banning wet wipes.

The gradient of the pipe in this drain is really bad. No wonder it keeps blocking.

Yes the level on that pipe is dreadful, must have dropped too to cause all the back flow , no the wonder it keeps blocking up.

When jetting you are supposed to pull the hose back so the jet will brake up the blockage and clear the crap behind the jet not just let the jetting head sit there
