@B I Lol David is beating everyone because of how conffident he is and upfront he is. David's success doesn't mean anyone else is doing BAD. I still dont know what Matt does anyway lmao... But David just succeeded in his genuine authentic humour and enjoyment of his own work, and it shone through to his audience. I prefer his older videos mainly, but he still does things he loves doing like giving people stuff and pranks and just being silly - and the fact he does it so easily shows it's just natural to him and that's why people love it.
Doesn't mean Matt or Zane or Todd, etc. is BAD. They're just not as great, but they're being driven by his energy anyway.

I can appreciate Jeff because I have seen other videos and he is real. Vlog squad makes fun of him and his past but he gives his show and the vlog squad a real picture of life. He is doing very well at this piont and yes not the same humor of what you are used too. He actually in the videos I have watched is authentic, talks about real issues, tries to help Jonah and his family. I think it was admirable to say in a vlog I am an addict and I workout to not be a psychopath.. The truest expression expression. I work in mental health and I really like him. It kinda started as a whole joke, but it accidentally has revealed that Matt is kinda disconnected with reality or is insecure about something. I'm kinda disappointed because although it's all a _joke_ from Jeff, it has actually made me kinda dislike Matt after revealing his true-ish behaviour oops. I mean, I can't really say for sure what Matt's like in his deepest darkest moments but I can definitely spot some kinda burning insecurity that he keeps defending himself when everyone else is making a joke.
And don't get me wrong, insecurities don't always arise from the fault of the insecure person. It could be from the way they were treated in the past. They often lead to mildly irrational behaviour however.
