There’s a big chance the Panthers could win out for the rest of the season. All they need to do is play the way they played against KC and these last 6 teams don’t stand a chance.
Bryce Young is putting together some decent progress but I'm going to pump the brakes a bit. I just watched the Chiefs barely beat the 2-9 Raiders and AOC put up 340 passing yards and 2 TDs against the Chiefs in KC. But absolutely celebrate the progress because a month ago this fanbase would've been satisfied with trading him for a day 3 pick.

We need to be careful crowning him just yet. He did play like a franchise qb vs KC....HOWEVER we're so used to seeing trash QB play that we're going nutts over average play. Lets see how he does against TB....Im hoping he balls out. THEN we can consider crowning him.
I agree. He had a good game by BY standards but people are acting like this guy had an elite game. Let's chill out a bit and let the season wrap up. Canales was scheming up dudes in one on ones and wide open all game. That isn't possible every week and you don't always get the bye week for extra preparation.
i know im late but here's my thoughts on Bryce: I am aware of the fact that his play is part of the reason we are 3-8. when you look big picture, Bryce young is not that great of a QB. THAT SAID: I think BY9 has earned the right to start in 2025. clearly developing and has some nice connections with Jatavion Sanders and Xavier Legette. go get an Abdul Carter or a Nic Scourton in the draft to replace Brian Burns, get some of the defensive issues shored up and see if Bryce can put it together year 3. the O-line is good, receiver is still a need but fix the defense and let Bryce build on existing connections.
He should have had multiple touchdowns against the chiefs and the Panthers should have won that game. Tremble dropped a TD catch when the ball bounced off of his hands, if that was Sanders it would have been good. For one example...
I know it's fan and analyst tendency to make bold claims after 2 or 3 game stretches, we all do it, but it's a bit ridiculous. BY went from future Journeyman, to Bust, to now Star in 5 games lol. I have a feeling BY, as predicted by many after last year, will fall into mediocre game manager. Maybe enough to hold down the fort as they continue to rebuild next year but after a season and a half of NFL tape from him, I'd be surprised if he was the starting QB in 2026/27. Hope I'm wrong but more will be clear in a month.
I’ve said before that he could be a high end bridge for next year, let the rest of the team build and when the teams profile improves maybe a talent like arch manning isn’t turned off by the chance to be drafted by Carolina
I think we’re forgetting how talented he actually is. It’s no fluke that he was the #1 pick. I’ve always thought he was either going to be a star or (maybe never to mahomes level) or have his confidence so completely zapped that he never gets a chance to get going. Guess we will see!
