i saw garth at maple leaf gardens roping the wind tour. unreal! i didnt want to go because a love hard rock, but it was the best concert i saw in my life. up there as good as RUSH live.

my favorite is a concert set in ireland. long ago i was a directory assistance operator it was before the 911 system was installed and the day the garth brooks concert went on sale every phone number in oklahoma city busied out which means no one could call anyone because so many people were ordering garth brooks tickets by telephone that no one could call anyone not even the police and fire department or ambulance workers ... shortly thereafter oklahoma city upgraded their phone services. now that only happens after major evens like storms or the actual day of 9/11

What an absolutely great performance - my wife Laura and I both loved GB. Sadly she passed away last November. I wish we would have gotten the opportunity to see Garth live. She would have loved it.
