Well I just did the toneprints that I like best...for now. I'm going to do another demo testing toneprints for fast leslie sounds like David Grissom uses (though he uses a custom Arion Chorus). I'll be we can find one that works for that.
Yeah, I really like these little guys. So many different sounds can come out of these tiny little boxes. Now to find a useable fast leslie chorus toneprint for the little green monster. :)
Being as my musical experiences had me playing from 1977 through present day music, the chorus pedal was a mainstay (also why the Roland JC120 is so revered still). It’s a fantastic tonal thickener. I used it on my bass a ton in the 80’s. I am a big fan of the TonePrint technology. I find it not only amazing in the editing tweakability (which I don’t know if I will always take advantage of) but also the versatility of the mini pedals (which I will use some that will mostly be “set it and forget it”). Enjoyed this video greatly.
Thanks! I've been using a wet/dry rig or a simple two amp rig with youtube because I think it helps fill out the frequencies. Guitar is so much about the mid frequencies and chorus exaggerates that I think so... Thanks for taking the time to comment, and thanks so much for checking out the video.
I just the Corona Chorus mini which is my first mini pedal in there line up. It's fantastic and a little different then the full size pedal. Sine I started using a lot more of the tone prints is perfect. Thanks for great video. I subscribed and look forward to watching more.
Great playing and demo! I'll have to add a Corona mini to the small board soon ! TC should take a note from Neunaber and have at least one "blank slate" pedal in their lineup ( or do they ? ) ... I'd love the option of tone printing a pedal to be something entirely different depending on the need for that gig or session. They'd have an edge on Neunaber in that you could use your phone and do this on the fly rather than by USB cable and software.

Your demos are Great!! wanted to hear that "Scofield" extreme chorus sound he uses sometimes. I have a Julia but may be worth having this also for the Sco blast here and there. Thanks
Thanks Bob. I think Sco did that with an old Boss CE-2. There’s a tone print for that on the TC website I think. But I’d be surprised if you can’t dial that up on your Julia, or close enough.
My attraction to the pedal is general quality of sound, build quality and size. I simply don’t use Chorus enough to command anything other than a mini pedal footprint, and I’m unwilling to have a pedal board any bigger than whatever I can place on my Pedaltrain Nano.
I hear you Keith. The guys using them for Leslie effects got my attention again, David Grissom, Josh Smith, even Bonamassa is doing that with an analog chorus now. I put an MXR Analog Chorus on my four pedal nano board and dig if for rhythm parts. I only went with the Analog because I'm running the nano on a Volto battery pack. But these little guys are much more versatile.
five watt world I’ve gone mini for almost my whole board using TC, One Control, Nobels, Keeley, and Xotic. I have the HoF, Flashback, and Corona minis. I plan to watch your videos on each to mine some ideas. I’m looking for a reverb patch that utilizes pre-delay and a clean digital finish.

I’ve been playing it for a couple of weeks and it sounds just as good as my original from the ‘90’s (the silver 10th anniversary one). Great edge of break up, Guthrie Trapp tones and it stacks really well too. I think it’s a keeper. If you haven’t already sub’d, go ahead to catch the video, hopefully later this week.

What are you curious about gear wise? I'm glad to answer. I don't currently have a pedalboard that is static, always pulling things on and off my Nano for demo and testing purposes. I am going to do a series of videos on my favorite players boards using only mini pedals I've been collecting for that purpose, Andy Timmons, David Grissom, maybe Eric Johnson even. I spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about this. Trying to decide what is "essential" for me, what describes my sound and what I'd commit to on a board. My wife just challenged me to try to build a board and use it for one year, learning the board and pulling the sounds out of it. It would be a good exercise and it would probably make a good video topic as well, to sort out what is something our heroes use versus what tones resonate for us personally and then put those things on a board and do updates on the individual pieces. Obviously I really like the toneprint mini pedals. They are sort of cheating as they let you have different sounds via the toneprints. I am really digging the Nobels mini and I'm a Guthrie Trapp fan so that would make the cut likely. I also have a LOT of pedals built by a boutique handbuilder of mini pedals from Ontario, Canada, Kevin O'Reilly of KO Amps. I have a dozen of his minis at least, more than any other individual brand, and ALL his stuff is really amazing. I have a Zen drive (that he no longer makes), one of his Rat pedals, an amazing fuzz of his own design called the KOSound Fuzz that does the Mark Knopfler Crowther Hotcakes tone SO well, and he just built me two copies of the Colorsound Powerboost circuit along with a Big Muff Pi to do David Gilmour tones (Dark Side and Animals era). Kevin is a great amp/pedal builder and his prices for built by hand pedals are really reasonable. I'm hoping that doing the boards of my favorite players will help me get to know them all better and focus in on my sound. Oh, and Mayer is on my list of boards, though I'll really have to shed his style much more since I haven't really listened to him as much as I should. Great player and great tones.
Hi there! One question: How can I reestablish the original effect after downloaded a preset from the toneprint app? In this mini version I could not find the option of having the standard + 1 preset

I am a big fan of the nano’s as well. 4 full size or 5 minis, a great limitation.
I was done with chorus pedals forever until I heard this demo.

Will it work well with an acoustic guitar?
Sure. If you can get the expected output. I’d try your guitar with the pedal at a store to be sure, but any chorus should be proof of that.
