I’m pretty sure that in season one they got a divorce. I remember Tim told her something like “I will always be a reminder of your worst days” or something like that. Then after he said that (and multiple other things) they both agreed breaking up/getting a divorce would be the best option. I might be wrong but I am pretty sure that they got a divorce a long long time ago lol
