@joyparrish5998 Yes, I read your question and the same answer applies. Grandma treated them to vacations or took the grandkids. Private school is an investment in your kid's future. It's not an 'unnecessary thing'. Dad was paying for it and then grandma took over to avoid dragging the children out of their school and disrupting their education. So they weren't struggling while grandmother was supporting them. That's all explained in the video as I said before.
My in-laws make great money, the first time my kids went to a lot of places was with their grandparents. The first time they went on a trip out of town, to the snow, and to Disneyland, was without me. Sure, I was disappointed to have to miss those experiences but my husband and I work a lot. Still, I was grateful they could do these things with the kids and that my kids could have these experiences.
Both happy enough to have holidays which OP pay for as long as OP doesn’t go but doesn’t like it when it’s clear to the children that OP is paying.. they don’t want OP to spoil the kids but really she’s been spoiling the son and daughter in law
Bet you a lot of their expenses wouldn’t exist if they were the ones paying for it all, no doubt the daughter in law planned all those holidays knowing she wouldn’t have to pay
