Honestly, being at home for such a long time may cause many problems, both mentally and physically; after few weeks being bored and didn't know what to do, now i'm being more productive and realized that this period is ideal for slowing down everything and reorganize my life ❤️😊

K. Mort Im in high school. Hate it. I should’ve used break for SAT because my mom keeps pestering me on that buuuut I started teaching myself some Spanish. I’m also trying to learn a a little bit of Japanese.
Because of quarantine my teachers give me more homework and i don't have the time for it but also im an introvertic so quarantine isnt that bad

There's a kinda similar timer app on the playstore. I personally use Pomodoro lite as my timer. I hope this helps

My school online studying schedule is insane!
Schools in the U.K. are closed and my summer exams are cancelled I literally have nothing to do.
Schools in Poland are closed until April 14 and our exams are in the same term as always. I am really upset cause when I return to school I will have a week to pass all classes. I wish I was in your place :

actually can’t wait to start studying while we’re all stuck at home so this was so inspiring! i’ve taken the opportunity to clear out and clean my room as i had to come back from uni and realised my room made me really sad to be in as it had so much old stuff in it!

I have online work/ video meetings for school (not college) and it’s actually not that bad! It’s honestly not any more than normal homework is for me bc I start earlier, work at my own pace, and I don’t have after school activities to wear me out. I’d have such a hard time figuring out what to do if I didn’t still have class work!

Well, on your bookshelf I saw Percy Jackson and The Mortal Instruments... so I fangirled. Also I am from Poland and here we have way to many things on our plates. I am a freshmen an high school and for us it seems as our teachers lost their mind. During quarantine which started March 8th we didn’t have and online classes. Our teachers just send us a lot of homework with no explanation. It’s really hard for us to learn since we have to email our teachers and be online all the time cause we never know when someone decides to send us some homework.
Can you tell us how to get better grades on tests?????? because I need that
cookie lamo i used to think like you but i really think it’s focus :/ i used to think that i did enough studying and that i had something wrong with me but it’s really us in denial. you really need to shut your phone off and read textbooks WORD BY WORD and understand the topic itself. don’t push yourself to memorise but push yourself to familiarise if there are too many topics. also, answer questions that your teacher gave you for the unit :)
yeah me too, im good in class but once the tests come i do so bad.
cookie lamo are you doing ok in class assignments and struggling with tests, or is it both? Everyone learns differently so it may be a matter of changing things up (studying for intervals may be better than hours). If you’re homework assignments get good grades but you freeze on tests, the tips and tricks are different.
Also note, although this video is great, there are those of us who get easily distracted and something as simple as changing highlighters is enough to take us out of the zone. If you find that happens, sit with a pen, some paper and take notes. Another trick, it’s going to be weird, but if you’re trying to remember something “place it” in your house. Ex: if you are trying to remember a formula, visualize it on your nightstand. An important date? Next to your toothbrush...During your test, you’ll think “ok, it’s in the bedroom on the nightstand” and your brain will “find it”. I know, it’s weird but it’s one of the ways memory experts use to remember so much.
