HeyJael. I'm glad you fired those builders. This is your dream house, and It should be done correctly.Just don't rush it. I have noticed there are a lot of cowboy builders who build this crooked buildings where the lines and dimensions are never straight. Pole pole mama, You will get there eventually 🙏

Hi Jael, you might want to reconsider the spacing of the 3 plants/trees next to your house. The palm looking plant that you were tying with binding wire grows really big. The one with the ants on its red flowers grows into a mature tall and wide tree and the other palm also grows quite huge and widens its leaves as it grows tall. It can grow to over 10meters long and is more beautiful as it spreads its leaves on each side. The three plants should be replanted far from your house and have them distanced properly. At least 10meters between each other.

Jael, thanks for your RUclips Channel. I met you here before I started to build my house in October last year. You inspired me and gave a lot of advise some which I did not follow have come back to bite me. I appreciate all the good things and vibes that are building us who follow you. I fired my contractor and I am on my second one. So far the part they have accomplished I am happy. You are not alone, remember not all builders are builders. Your eyes are just like mine, able to tell where lines are not straight and contractors who don't know their work don't like that! I had 14 windows and all were brought down because they were crooked. The man could not believe his ears nor his eyes that the windows were off my walls. I am sorry that this happened to you too.

Jael, thanks for giving us a tour of your house. In my opinion it’s in safe conditions. Just ensure that less percolation gain access into it. Then let your hand aide clear the grass around the house at least one meter all round. This will limit chances of wild grass with water gaining access into the house. Good luck 🎉🎉🎉

Hello Jael. I warm my chapatis in microwave. Role it in cling film and you will find it is as good as freshly fried. Thank you for sharing the damages done to your building. Cowboy builders/workers are everywhere. I am glad you fired the person. My advice will be not to bring the walls down but to make good on it. Straighten the walls, hoping that will keep the funds/cost stable??? One day when we meet l will share with you what a cowboy contractor did to my beautiful land 😮. Love your home. Really taking shape ❤❤❤.

Hi Jael, Pole sana. I find that it's very difficult to get good craftsmanship. Even when they put the glass windows panes, many times the putty is left peaking out of the frame or smeared on the glass itself. Crooked doorframes. Unlevelled gypsum ceiling decor😭😭😭. It's a constant test on your patience...and bank account!! I don't see failure. All I see from how far you've come with the house is that you have balls of steel.💫🙌

Of course you have to make the difficult decisions to fire someone, and everything cost more than planned. When I am past 40 years of homeownership I think I will sell and rent in different places. But yes, it's always rewarding. Glad your chicken have settled. Blessings from The Bahamas.

Oh dear …. Sorry to hear of the imperfections in your build project 😕 A suggestion from someone who has built two new residences, and renovated two others to add more space - do not knock down the imperfect pillars. A good builder should be able to add more width to those pillars uneven pillars - it should cost you less than demolishing then rebuilding …. Good luck whatever course you take 🌻

Jambo Jael🥰. Thank you for sharing one of your life lessons with us. The process of life is filled with lessons of ups, downs, good moments and sad moments. There are times we rejoice and times we regret choices made. But it’s a learning process! We learn and move forward. I see you learning to allow patience to develop in your process. There is definitely no failure in that! Continue to dream, share and allow your lessons to teach others. The process of life will continue to teach and reward you. Be encouraged you are doing great things! I am always amazed of the similarities between the plant life and weather in your area and mine. The flowers are beautiful. Your Zinnias, Roses, Bottlebrush, Elephant Leaf and Palms are so pretty. Nature is rewarding your hard work!🤩. Step by step the homestead is coming into manifestation. Kudos to you my dear👍🏾🙌🏾👏🏾.
