I think I figured it out. Rodney spent years in a Tibetan monestary learning the lost art of box flipping. He is now working on becoming a master, but to do so, he has to do a box flip of a fully packed Gloomhaven.
I'm not sure you can hold that game with just one hand so doing a flip is impossible. We already get too few videos from him. If he's out for months with a broken wrist, the wait would be unbearable.
This is a great mutation of 7 Wonders which I have found to be limited in depth and replay desirability. Hadara solves all the problems of 7 Wonders and avoids the clunky combat system as well, which is key for me in a civ building game. Great presentation, Rodney.
Fantastic game - I've introduced it to dozens of folks, and the majority of them have been excited to pick up of their own copy to play with their friends. Thanks for the play through Rodney!
Looks good. Strange that it is giving me strong 7 Wonders vibes, though it really isn't anything like that game. Must be the three ages/vibrant colors/(pseudo)drafting.
I had the utmost privilege to learn and teach Hadara during Pop-Up Gen Con last month. Quite a cool civilization game that's more family friendly than 7 Wonders. Thanks for the How To! :)
it's always entertaining to detect that sense of relief in your eyes just after you catch the box :) Cannot wait to watch the Watch it played for Twilight Imperium !
Looks like an interesting game, will have to try and play it. Also a good insert, it looks somewhat obvious they have expansions planned with those big slots along the sides left empty so at least they've planned ahead so you can fit everything in the box (hopefully).
Looks like a great game! Great job on the video and the flip. Is it eeepock or ehpock (spelling phonetically). I thing it is epoch, like epic, or I et my dinner...
Yuppers! This is a really great looking game! I am putting it on the Christmas list!!! Great video, of course.... do I need to even say this anymore? ❤️❤️❤️
Watch It Played I will keep saying it. You are a great instructor. I love watching your videos, I feel like it helped me keep up with the hobby. It also helps me make informed decisions. I am constantly recommending you on Facebook fora when people are struggling to learn the rules. You are the best channel I watch!!
I just realized, I had already watched this video, but for some reason, it didn’t show up as having been watched. Funny, just goes to show you how much I retain.... I didn’t really remember that I had watched it at all! Oh well, having watched it twice and liked the game twice, I am thinking it is a good game to be on my list on Amazon! Which it is. Maybe I should put it as a priority game.
I can't assess for someone else how much interaction is there (everyone will have their own measure of how much they are looking for). That said, much of the interaction will come in which cards you buy, versus discard (making them available for others), and then in the second phase, which ones you buy, or leave behind for others. There is no direct attacking of other players in the game though.
Work hard at creating good videos that people want to watch, preferably not for the sake of free games, but because you are passionate about wanting to create something of value for other people. If you can do that, the games will then take care of themselves.
I am not interested in this game at all and I still watched the whole video. That's how much I enjoy Rodney's content. Best person on the internet!

with a wooden insert inside`

It's like 7 Wonders with it's multiple scoring paths and deep layers of strategy. Thanks again Rodney for giving us another wonderful How To Play!
You're very welcome!
Thanks for showing the inserts when putting up the game. I love when a game puts in good inserts.
ME. TOO.

Glad you're enjoying this one!
I LOVE the idea of valuing so many different culture and giving each of them a place of honor to help influence and guide your society. SO AWESOME!!
Glad you enjoyed what you saw :)

Glad you've been enjoying this one Brian!
I bought Hadara after watching your video and we love it! Thanks for the videos! They really give you an idea about which games you might enjoy :)
Very nice of you to say, and thanks for letting me know! So glad you've been enjoying the game :)

A pleasure to share!
I hate/love it when I watch one of your videos and immediately know that I will be buying that game. Looks like a really fun game.
I hope you have a great time with it Robert!
It IS a really fun game! Highly recommend it.
I'd love to see a playthrough of this one!
Thanks Rodney. Yet another game I didn’t realise I wanted until I saw your video!
Thanks for coming by and checking it out!
Game night has a let's play of it. I fell in love the second I saw it.
Keith Myers Ooh thanks, I must have missed that one. Will check it out later. Always good to see a full game.
You read my mind Rodney. My copy of Hadara just arrived, and now I know how to play. Many thanks!
A pleasure to assist!
UGH! I was already interested in getting this game. Now, you made me want it more! LOL. Great job as always!
Thanks Maui!

TOP 10 of Gen Con for me. Love this game. One of my favorite card drafting, civ-light games in years.
This one got under my skin too - glad you've been enjoying it!
Reminds me a little of Coimbra with the tracks.
Such a likable guy. Thanks for all the great videos.
You're very welcome - glad you enjoyed!
Great video Rodney. It feels like a lot like 7 Wonders which I really enjoy. I will add it to my wish list.
Glad you enjoyed what you saw!

Great game, cant wait to buy it. Thanks for the explanation Rodney always very clear. I like your channel very much.
Thanks Jonathan, I hope you have a great time with this one!
You always make me nervous throwing those boxes at the beginning hahaha 😆
Intriguing, seems nice for a not too thematic game. Seems simple enough to follow too. Releases in a few weeks too. :)
Thanks for the rules!
Very interested about this game ! Thanks Rodney
I appreciate you checking it out!
You the man, Rodney
Thanks!
I put this on my list for the "SPIEL 2019" in Essen 👍
That box flip was the sexiest thing I ever saw
Do you reckon Rodney manages that box spin and catch first try or are there a bunch of outtakes somewhere?
ruclips.net/video/9WXTNh3fsM0/видео.html
I’m still dubious. Somewhere there are videos with game pieces everywhere! 😂
Well done again, sir.
Thank you kindly!
This quickly became our favorite game. Great as usual.
Still waiting for a How to Play video of Gloomhaven just for the box flip. The explanation of rules is not mandatory.
Looks fun!
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!

I won't stop you :)

I can not notice your dnd books collection. Are you a player or a DM?
Neither really. I'm more of a collector. I have an interest, but having played, as board games tend to consume all my time.
@@WatchItPlayed You should try it when you have the chance
Very cool game
That was one of your better teaches. I feel no need to open the rulebook
Glad it helped!
Beyond competing for the highest score, there seems to be very little interaction or competition between players. Or am I missing something?

Looks complicated. Convinced me not to go to the game night after all. Enjoyed your way of talking though 🤠
Glad the video helped you make a good decisions for your tastes! Thanks for checking it out :)
Hadara means Civilization in Arabic
Very interesting to know - thanks for sharing!
Hi! Can you please tell me how you get free games to review and promote my channel?
