NF cried for real on this track, especially near the end. The crew had to literally leave the studio as he finished the track. It was so hard on him that he literally broke down.
Have to listen to his new song "Mama" now. Shows his tremendous growth and the healing he's experiencing.

The raw emotion in this song is what I love the most about it you can hear the pain in his voice as he is talking
This song always gets me because my mom had a drug addiction when i was very young but she managed to clean herself up and has been for over 23 years now and this song reminds me just how lucky i am and proud of her i am
The rawness of his trauma and pain he put into lyrics for all to hear is so vulnerable and commendable and he will save lives with this one.

I know it's been about a year, and you haven't done an NF reaction in quite a while, but you should do a reaction to MAMA. It's a spiritual sequel to this song. It's about him coming to terms with his moms passing. It's more on the uplifting side, but it's honestly still a sad one

I would love to see you take his journey and discover some of the most honest, transparency writing I’ve ever experienced in an artist, but I agree with some of the comments below I think that you should follow this one with mama to get an idea of where he is now as an artist and son, however after that I’d follow every one of your videos on the journey ma’am just so you could see how it took years to get there and that’s apparent throughout his albums........ one of the most important and beautiful dive into a catalogue I’ve ever experienced ma’am!

You need to listen to mama from the hope album now, I saw him in concert when he released this album in 2015 and he had to stop for a moment because he was starting to cry on stage
it wouldn't be going back to the beginning of the journey as a lot of people have suggested but his album released yesterday had a good follow up to this 1 called "MAMA"

That is a great observation that when they were with her, they loved spending time together. You might recall, NF says in Hope he forgives her now. We also see this reflected in his new song Happy and his special song Moma on the Hope album. Both related to this song. Ad does Hope.

'The pills got you right, THE PILLS GOT YOU RIGHT?' almost sounds like a plea that the stress of life n kids didnt drive her to her death, it was the addiction. It sounds like he's worried that he might have inadvertently added to the reason shes gone and is praying that that isnt the case.

I lost my mom due to doctors and her using so many prescriptions... UGH. 😢😢 Ultimately...confronted her, told her to get off all the prescriptions and she did. Later in life, was off all of that, and some screw up at the hospital, she was in a coma...due to an allergic reaction.
Brain dead, and I had no way to get where she was.

What is really nuts about Nate's (NF) music is how he is such an intense rapper yet never once has sworn in any of his songs...
She probably hasn’t had anyone deal with addiction and also lose them or else she’d be swimming in tears ….

My father passed a few years ago. And my mother remarried to my now “step father” and relapsed and took off. I have yet to hear from her and she left me homeless due to her selling the house we were living in from underneath me with nowhere to go. Fast forward I am now almost done with college and have a beautiful fiancé who is my best friend. I am lucky. I hope whoever reads this knows it will get better ❤️🩹

But it's hard for anyone to wanna get help because for one now we'll give drug dealers and users longer then pedophiles and then the people they talk to for help have never had an addiction their whole life
