The beautiful weather and good music gave me good vibes right from the beginning on. I had two parallel strings in my head. The first one was sitting in a Walloon's car ending up in French: Je te vais montrer mon village. On y va e traversant Bruxelles vers le sud, les jolis villages du charactère de la Belgique francophone, peut-être les Ardennes et le valais de la Moselle. Then switching back again to Brussels, I thought: Wait, you may be sitting in a Flemish person's car. So up we go futher north into the Belgian plains. We rijden door de dorpjes in Vlaanderen, misschien naar de oude en historische staden Gent, Leiden of Brugge or Antwerp or een dorpje tussen de felden. Let's see where the ride will take us. It might take us into the German speaking part. Zwischen Euosn und Sankt Vith hat das Land seinen ganz eigenen Reiz. But then you see: Oh, no! Tihange, an old nuclear power plant and you end up being worried where the ride will take you in the future.
La Moselle/Mosel/Moezel runs from France next to Luxemburg to the the Rhine in Germany and doesn't flow through Belgium. Though it is a very very beautiful valley with hills full of vinyards, comparable in beauty to that of the Meuse, especially between Namur and Dinant.
Very nice, all the circles got me a little dizzy, as I'm from a much smaller village in Pennsylvania, USA.
