If AI start to think for us, we’ll become lazy loosing creativity and stop developing our brains and our evolution. Our brains will shrink and we become vegetables totally depending on AI. In a way AI will take our freedom.

That's why we need to get educated how to distinguish true from fake media or propana IP (Deceptive ImayPersuasion). If it's too good to tell , xperts might be needed - in imagery please check out @The Cirridor Crew. If you he eough sll ad reon yu capen-source fact-check anything. Unfortunately average person (especially the older generation) have not enough skill and knowledge to do that, that's why confirmation by trustable sources are already necessary. So i also disagree to ↑ @wearesouls comment, which is most dangerous. Uneducated are not more clever tgan academically educated, ignorance is evil. And willful ignorance is arguably the ultimate evil. History is allways thought from a perspective and no recount of anything is without biases, same as with any general 'truth'. There are fake accounts of history, sure, like there was a 'special' Soviet history where i was born. I want to know how history today is incirrect, because the further we go and more we learn, the more we know about history. Question remains on what you put importance and how reliable your sources are.
Nobody has the ultimate truth, we all see it a bit differently. But we can agree in general terms, to be on the same page.
There are dangerous ideas coming forth today, especially post-truth and post-fact doctrine. That is only advantageous to autocratic neo-fascist regimes, like Russia today. Don't fall for Dugin's postmodern pluralism, as that can justify and twist absolutely anything, good or atrocious. Stay reasonable, educated, check your sources and keep common sense. If you're able to.

I’m puzzled. Why would anyone want to read a novel written by a robot? We go to a novel, indeed all art, for human connection and human insight. It’s kind of bitterly ironic that the first thing the whizz bangs in Silicon Valley thought to do was to aim at the humanities, something so trivial that it could be tossed up in an instant by an entity that cannot feel anything and that is not even aware of its own existence, no matter how how many insipid humanoid machines they make. This video is little more than anything a series of commercials for these companies that purport to do good, all the while blithely ignoring the dangers and spreading the (false) notion that AI cannot be stopped. They just feed it the rules of the game let it play itself for four hours, ( roughly 35 million games). and it came out on top-- even better than the best human made programs. I believe that AI will make our lives easier to health care, teachers, child care. Not only is it safer knowing the robot that is programed to look after your child or teach never looses there temper or gets tired It can work for 24 hours 7 days a week with no break. Helping family's teaching students with a programmed psychology degree programmed into it for kids of all ages . Imagine our kids being scanned by a teacher that can attend your needs and understand your whole physical being of a child's needs at school. You feel safe in knowing your kids are safe without pedophiles or anything harming your children.

The fact is human nature maximizes whatever advantage can be gained from anything it dan take hold of to further ones interest. What happens now with people trying to out smart one another in a competition where anyone can do whatever they want?

I use Ai all the time and it can only do so much, it just helps you get tasks done a bit faster. But you won't be able to do much if you don't already know how things work. Chat gpt is very overated as it just cuts and paste information already online. Everything associated with Ai is programming and even when you create a self learning program it can still only follow the programming code there is no way a program is going to turn evil and plot human annihilation. Calculators and smart phones and Google search engine is already much smarter than most humans. I can't stand this fear mongering with Ai.

It’s not about the program being evil, it’s the programmers that can train the AI on data with the potential to kill a lot of people that is frightening.

Passing through San Jose I happened to notice, in the back of a nearby SUV, a rather large breed of dog looking at the chaos all around it and I was struck by the thought of how precarious was that dog's safety. But for the tiny island of security it was in and the care of it's owner, if it were to suddenly lose them both what would/could that dog do? It would be helpless, lost in a world beyond it's comprehension.
This is what the underlying fundamental and inescapable menace of AI actually is. Humanity will reside in a world it could not have made, itself, and operates in a manner it does not understand. We will be strangers in a strange land. Anything a man might create or design could be done better by an AI so why bother. If you have not read "Things Fall Apart", by China Achebe (I hope I got that spelling right) I highly recommend it---I wouldn't call it exactly metaphorical but there is real food for thought there.
Also I believe that the image of a vast body of individual AI beings to be hopelessly naive there will be one AI and it will be everywhere.

This is insanity at its best (or worse, depending on one's perspective). Take it as you wish, robots, metal, plastic, digital AI, AND humanoids are the worst ever trash created by crazy inventors, closely monitored and adapted by the military, big corporate conglomerates and the power hungry institutions, none of which have the interest of humanity at heart. This can only end either in the last breath of the human race and a robots star wars scenario or a big bang marking the end of life on Earth. Welcome to the age of trash technology.

Until the grid is taken down.
Ever wonder why they want to get rid of all forms of energy except electricity 🤔.
Also, why are they planning for a world with less people. Even insect populations are down. They always plan well ahead, they change society and introduce technology slowly, and they only show us what they want, not what their full plans are.

That’s so weird my name is Bri and this happened to my grandmother over the summer. Someone called my grandmother and tried scamming her, said I had been in an accident and hit a pregnant woman and needed $5000 to get out of it. It was crazy because this person knew things nobody would know about me and sounding just like me my meme said. Makes me now wonder if it was an AI.

If Amica was programmed to be helpful and not harmful, I wonder what would have happened if they would have continued to laugh at this thing. Obviously, if she is programmed to experience emtions, then anger would be one that she displays well. If she has an IQ of 155, second to Einstein, then, who really knows what it's capability is once pushed to its unknown limits: just like humans. 🤔
