I bought an old abandoned house in the village for $20,000 and am restoring it myself.
I dismantled the old plaster and now plaster with cement and sand. There were cracks on the wall, I used a metal mesh. Installed the window. When I finish the plaster, I will concrete the floor. I temporarily left the ceiling, but over time I will dismantle the ceiling and make a new one.
