I have been walking with you for over a year and my trip to Denmark and Sweden is FINALLY only a week away! Thank you for helping me plan my trip through your many walks! I’ll be in Stockholm 7 full days and have also planned 2 days in Visby. I know I won’t see every beautiful Stockholm spot but I have some definite favorites on my list. (Garden/patio behind Stockholm City Hall is a definite.) I know you don’t like to interrupt your walks but if I see you, I’ll wave. 🇸🇪
Oh wow! Welcome! I do hope you’ll have a wonderful time, and good weather. Visby should be lovely! If you’re in the city around 8-10 June watch out for trucks with drinking, singing graduates- they will get you covered with beer. And do say hi if I would be walking by
Interesting story about smithies. :) That must be around the time when Sweden ruled over Latvia and Baltics in general. There used to be close ties between Sweden and the lands across the Baltic sea in the past.
Really interesting. I really love these kind of tours. I can just imaging what the working conditions were like, working in those hot factories! Much appreciated min vän!
Well, at some places in Sweden there might be a little snow left. But no, not in Eskilstuna. This is part of a walk I filmed this winter, January I think it was
You have a terrible climate. In the video from the previous day, it was warm and sunny. Then snow. The next day the trees are green again. I wouldn't survive there (just kidding) 😜
A lovely walk on a winter’s day with an interesting story. Thank you.
Thank you, glad you liked it!

Yes, that was part of Sweden back then. Lots of ties from way back!
Reminds me a bit of Norrkoping, always good to see history preserved.
Yes, they have similar background, Eskilstuna and Norrköping
Beautiful

It’s been a rather nice summer- like day today, 17 degrees Celsius. When this was filmed is was real cold though, I think it was in January
@@StockholmWalks Got it, was under impression it was today, thanks.
Is this a recent video? There arn't suppose to be snow in summer

Why is there still snow on the ground?😳
This was filmed during winter
@@StockholmWalks Oh! 💛
Hold on to the store and get a new one for you
?
How dared the king die, before he fulfilled his promises.Quite irresponsible!
Indeed!
@@StockholmWalks Maybe he was "helped", that's always a possibility up there, at the top of the food chain.
According to wiki this one seems to have died from a flue! Poisoned or starved by a brother would have been more expected..,
@@StockholmWalks Yes, the biggest enemies of kings and queens were their own siblings. There can only be one on top...

Very tricky to pick right clothes in the morning
