I have use more 2 year, 12/12 and 12/308win (combination gun) 12/12 bore is very cool to shoting and Combination 308win is very accurate more 100 meter.
Well if you do the research, which I did but it's quite some time ago now so some part of it is forgotten. It is as someone said a Valmet/Tikka design that was bought by Marocchi. Valmet/Tikka on their part i think got their design from Remington/Krieghoff if you look at an old Valmet 412 they are almost identical to the Remington model 32 which became the Krieghoff K-32 and later on the K-80.
Our local dealer is an importer. He also had the rifle barrel set for it too. I've held it, its okay but won't be selling my silver pigeon or my Blaser BBF97 for it.
I own two Marocchi Model 99’s. Dubbed “the poor man’s Perazzi”. A wonderful design that Marocchi failed to market effectively in the states. Marocchi jumps all over the place in quality and design. Small wonder they haven’t really tAken off anywhere.
Hello, I have a Tikka 412s model trapping shotgun. There are scratches and mold on the metal body part. I want to take it to the service, is it possible to paint it in its original color?
I really like it but suspect that closer study of the action and the likely unavailability of parts would dissuade me. However, with rifle barrels in a useful caliber or combination barrels might bring out my checkbook.
@@TIGAXTAMANim sure there is some interchangeability between the series but because they have different manufacturers I don't think all of them are interchangeable
Very clean looks on this one, I rather like it. It might look nicer in the flesh but it doesn't look as though the grade 2 wood gets you much for your extra money.
Its rather cheap for A new gun. My old man got one for 895 pounds new, cased, all the chokes, warranty and his was adjustable cheek comb version. The gun is pretty nice and for the money punches above its weight it handles very similar to my Beretta 687 SP3 but abit lighter. But you don't really feel any difference in felt recoil till you start going above 34grm cartridges.
The quality on the 512 and 612 is not on the same level what it used to be when Valmet made them. 412 is the last Valmet and best of them all imo. We have 12/76 412S and it looks like brand new.
Nah not for me, I don't think I'd ever get rid of my old 686 onyx. It's probably older than me I mean it's got mobil choke system which was updated ages ago right?
you buy a Marocchi at your peril. 10 years down the line you wont be able to get an spares for their guns. I had a nice 20bore semi auto as a instructors gun it broke it was 7 years old sorry we don't carry any spares for that gun anymore. What I have a Remy 1100 made In 1972 and I can get any parts I want for it. you have been warned

Nice looking unit, I think they are well underrated in the uk. I’ll pop over and see you soon Jonny.
Very nice, I find sliding shroud guns very appealing, I wish it was a system that was utilized more.

Brilliant gun! What is the cost of a used and brand new one?

It's as if a Remington 3200 and a Cynergy had a baby! Very interesting- I can't help but wonder how that forend will hold up over time. Edit: First!
Seems like a somewhat modernized Finnish Valmet 412/412S.
Basically yes - hence the name.
Very limited in market, Gun manufacturers made for 3 in 1 (Shotgun, Combination gun and double rifle).
@Cameron Powell it is.
Any chance on a reupload of the Winchester 5500 review? Intrigued as i just got a 6500 on the way after the gunsmith finishes with it.
You did a great 2nd cut of the part where you put the gun back together @ 4:44 however...... you forgot to cut it out! Very entertaining!
Whoops! Talking and Doing dont always go together!
Marocchi 03 field, Opinions??
By any chance do you know anything about Marocchi SI-12

Hi John, great content, keep it up.👍
Are the 612 barrels compatable with 212/412/512 models do you know? Thanks.
No , 100 % different . Search in Google and u can compare 412,512,612

Awesome videos you produce though, well done on that.
All in all an “interesting gun” ?

Interesting, but not very appealing.
Good review but awful looking gun!
612 , 512 are garbage !! Go for the old Valmet 412s !!
