I don’t have SV and am not interested in it’s competitive scene, so whenever I see videos like this, there’s always a new move/ability/item/form that absolutely blows away all my expectations. “How did game freak manage to make something THAT broken?” I say that every single time
you know even if Pokémon had good animation it still would have a bad world building and immersion anyway because really in the Pokémon universe people don't feel like they are there like they just stand there doing nothing even with your rival if you lose a battle and go back to the pokecentre they are still there sometimes things just don't make sense like how did your rival get past some of the obstacles with teams puzzles n shit in the previous games and really wtf moments like the karate part in sun and moon like this shit just ruins immersion and some stuff don't make any sense like how if you put a Pokémon in a box and take it out 100 million years its sill alive that makes no sense with all of the digital stuff that they game tells us even really it could have told us not to think about it but it does with the dialogue like these are living creatures how could this happen. Its the same with the Pokémon they don't act like animals in legends arecus they just stand there and will attack when you get close to them but will just give up when you walk away and for fuck sake peter Jacksons king Kong game a Xbox 360 launch title from 2005 has animals fighting each other eating their dead bodies dragging their caucuses to eat them live in packs and try to kill you even if their hidden it also has a way better atmosphere and a mode believable world than an 2022 game Pokémon don't even interact with each other or have a pack nest like other animals or fuck it not with their trainers it does not feel real. Other games like dead space have good animation but also sound design to scare the player they sound horrifying if they had good animation but talked in a British voice it would ruin immersion and look fucking stupid or how about left 4 dead where it has a creepy dead atmosphere where everything is a ghost town with zombies who interact walk around cough vomit lie down they break down doors and try to get you trough tiny spaces and they act aggressive like a real zombies. Hell there have been games with mediocre or bad animations like BioShock that have amazing atmosphere and immersion like the sounds lighting color background level design npcs and their behavior looks dialogue it feels real and fallout 3 with its dark green color its barren destroyed dirty cool details like the further away you are with galaxy radio on it will go off leaving nothing but a cold wind to hear. So really what I'm saying is even is it will take more than good animation for immersion for pokemon but sadly gamefreak never did that they just copy paste nearly all the gens and sadly the fanbase have became animation freaks where they think that this is the most important thing for good atmosphere and immersion even thoe its not really it will take more.
Bro what kind of mods do I have to get to fix my shiny life orb solar power tropius because the shiny is so bad but the pokemon can one shot arcanine tera fire annihilape (tera rock) solar beam 2 taps donodozo with buffs and 1 shots any squishy that hits for heutral
The mods are only visible for your switch. So shiny gengar still looks like it's regular boring self to the opponent. Mods still work for online games as long as they are purely visual.
@@yammez1 I know he just replaced textures on his own game, my question comes bc is mostly known that nintendo bans hacked consoles from the online services, so, how is he playing online without getting banned? 🤔 my guess is that nintendo just checks for mods that give you any advantage and piracy, so if you got only legal homebrew and visual mods there’s no way you get banned, but I wanted to be sure before trying myself and risking my online services

Because if they truly cared about the quality of games they would focus more on how bad Sword and Shield's story was, how there was no new area to explore in Galar in the post game unless you bought the DLC, how barren and empty the map design was, especially in the Wild Area and DLC locations. Instead of criticizing the games where they deserve it, such as the world design being a bland shape and no new areas to explore unless you buy DLC (which was a staple of every other game including SV), the story being lack luster and the villain's motives making no sense, or the overall lack of difficulty in any battles, people like DK here nitpicked shit like Double Kick animations which ultimately gives people a shield to be contrarian and say Sword and Shield were good games.
