Bob Melvin Gets Ejected 18 Times
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 26 фев 2021
- Wasn’t able to find all of his 22 of his career ejections with the A’s and not every clip includes the actual ejection
I do not own any of these clips, all rights go to Major League Baseball
Follow me on Twitter and Instagram @dennproduct
One thing I love about BoMel is how most of these ejections are on EGREGIOUS calls. The McCarthy one in Texas, the infamous Rosales call in Cleveland, etc., they were all terrible. He’s not a manager that throws fits just to make a stink or to get attention. He saves his meltdowns for truly atrocious calls. You know the A’s are in the right if Melvin argues it.
Edit: RIP RAY FOSSE
He’s very conservative with his arguments, definitely not an Earl Weaver type manager
Agreed. I'm a Red Sox fans but on most of these I'm going "oh that's BULLSHIT!" on how the A's get screwed. Melvin is totally justified
Wait until he has to deal with Doug Eddings and his bullshit with the Padres. If you follow the Padres, you’ll know that man has an obvious personal grudge against them.
@@jordanfabula3137 nobody has any feelings about the padres, sorry dude.
After what happened in Cleveland, Angel Hernandez shouldn't even be hired to flip burgers.
Dozens of camera angles: Exist
Instant replay: Exists
MLB Umps: My ego is more important
Welcome to San Diego, BoMel!
Guess what....another Angel sighting
Bob Melvin is going to get his money’s worth is the most common phrase said by the commentators
shame that Oakland could only give Melvin so much to work with
I hope he can have more success in San Diego, he deserves some
Welcome to San Diego Bob Melvin
Saw this in my recommendations and it’s worth it
why am I not surprised that angel hernandez in the 3 clip
I’m so happy this man is gonna be the new Giants manager now
Angel Hernandez messed up a call you don’t say
That cleveland one is just awful. Good lord the umps screwed that up. Is that Angel Hernandez?
of course it is
@@aidandevlin7605 Lol fuckin ump union. He should've been gone a long time ago.
It went to replay didnt it? Seems its on the replay booth IMO
@@mptr1783 If i remember correctly. They did go review the Homerun this was before they was replay. But back then you can review home runs. Apparently the TV in cleveland was like a 27 inch tube tv lol
@@andrewho1578cite your source please.
Wow that call in Cleveland was awful...
That call in Cleveland was crooked.
That’s Angel Hernandez for you I remember being absolutely dumbfounded watching it live and my dad just says “fucking angel Hernandez
Welcome to San Diego Bob!!!
Good luck in the future at San Diego Padres and try not get ejection with SD.
The Charlie Montoyo ejection clip would be the shortest youtube video ever
I just heard the news of Bob Melvin he's going to San Diego.
Melvin is a great manager, and always stands up for his players when they get screwed by the umps. Too bad the Dodgers didn't Get him. Roberts is a complete wuss.
Welcome to sd melvin
2:15 Melvin: That's a home run.
Hernandez: That's extra bases and it stands.
You can’t argue with the umpire if they rule it a double you need to except it and move on
There should be someone from MLB at every ball park that can throw the umpires out of the game. Nothing ever happens to them no matter how bad they are.
wrong
Welcome to San Diego!
(5:15) How does a player get ejected from a game that's already over?
Because the umps egos must be fed
That’s still a fine.
Thank you bob 💚💛
I never seen Sogard argue a call before.
You fuckin give it to em, Bobby!
You know Angel Hernandez isn’t a real umpire when he’s wearing a damn ADJUSTABLE CAP! Years later and I still get irrationally upset about the Cleveland home run no-call
*Get 'em Bo Mel!*
I’m a Mets fan who witnessed all the legendary Terry Collins ejections, and I just gained a ton of respect for Bob Melvin
The late, great Earl of Baltimore would approve.
"Care to see my rule book?" "No I can't read Braille." Priceless.
In the game between the A’s and the Mariners in Seattle that pitch was a ball
If my coach ain't getting tossed or fight for me in every game I wont play in that team
In the game between the A’s and the Mariners that pitch was a strike
Needed to do this for Tatis bad calls today
18 ejections. Ridiculous. What an example.
Laz Diaz is one of the worst umpires. He is out there to showboat and draw attention to himself like his hero Eric Gregg.
The way Punto threw that bat.
Gatta be embarrassing for these umps to go back and watch this to see how wrong they were and if not I get feeling they throw certain calls for the sports betting which is sad
About half of the calls in this video were correct.
Vogelbach is Buff as an Air Baloon
Doug Eddings watching this video of the next Padres manager like: 👀
Great baserunning by pedey
Does it count if your ejected by Hernandez?
No matter Bob is 👑
Greg Gibson the first base umpire 3:43
That pitch out one might be the worst thing on the video.
why? It wasnt a pitch out. The Catcher moved outside but the ball went over the plate
Angel Hernutzitch - the only s.o.b. in the umpiring profession who can watch a video replay and STILL make a bad call.
I GET sports. It's a BUSINESS. FIRST and FOREMOST it's a business. I guess it's part of the show. Kind of like Wrestling.
Can never say he wasn't commited
I love this man
The very beginning Laz Diaz
Oh Hell Yeah Keeping It 💯 On 2:01 Home Run From Adam Rosales Should've Been Oakland Athletics 5-4 Cleveland Indians At Progressive Field ⚾ Hits The Railing Whats The Name Of That Song Playing At Progressive Field Background MLB Umpires MLB Home Plate Umpire John Tumpane MLB 1st Base Umpire Paul Nauert MLB 2nd Base Umpire CC Shit The Bed On The Call Angel Hernandez MLB 3rd Base Doug Eddings Omg CSN California Give Credit To Them Commentators Glen Kuiper Ray Fosse And The Production Truck On The Call ⚾.
What annoys me the most is when the Umpire throws somebody out and then completely clams up when that person tries to get their moneys worth. That probably enrages players and managers even more. If you're going to eject somebody, TALK to them after the fact and tell them WHY they were thrown out and WHY you made the call you did. Don't just dummy up and walk away.
Why does it seem like the A's get screwed at lot?
because you picked a video that had the A's in it
@@mptr1783 what bob Melvin say something go quinn Wolcott
@@mptr1783 what bob Melvin say to Quinn Wolcott
You can’t argue with the umpire at all whatever call he makes you need to accept it and move on
Some of these umps need a line drive to the face to jog there memory on the rules of the game
To be honest the first was very close.
These umps need to be penalized for their fuck ups. No pay for two weeks worth of games
They dont seem to like that guy
Damn it seems like they make horrible calls that cost them the whole game. Getting thrown out is the least of his worries... when will sports stop being crooked?
Time to get him on the Padres
how do these umps keep their jobs. anywhere else a person making these mistakes would be fired
because the same mistakes are made in the Minor Leagues, NCAA, HS and Little League.
I think the home run that was called off was the worst ejection ever. He doesn’t get the home run cause of a stupid railing? I would’ve been fuming too!!
Some of these are horrible calls. However some are also correct and Melvin is wrong
the umpires shouln't have the right to throw you out of the game because of one comment.
Baseball looks so rigged sometimes 🤔
These a's announcers are are horrified or worse than the philly announcers.🤪🙊🙈🙉
Your grammar are are horrified 🤫
What?
What's embarrassing is the way he loses his mind over a game.
Not embarrassing at all lmao you’re not very smart
Well that’s how he brings home money to feed the kids so if some other dumb fucker was messing it up we’d have words.
Managers get mad like that all the time lol. Not embarrassing at all.
Agreed. Do they think theyre going to change the minds of the umpires by screaming at them lol? Do yourselves a favor and watch the CALM Mets manager Gil Hodges in the 1969 World Series. Gets the call. Then watch the opposite Earl Weaver flip out: ruclips.net/video/jpo8FYFHjuE/видео.html
@@mptr1783 You are spot on. Weaver was a tyrannical wild man. He earned that 69 ejection
