I hv met many shravan nakshatra men n women. .. most of them r highly self-centered, self talkative folks. ..particularly with ketu in 1st house n rahu in 7th house. .. may be my experience is limited. .. need to see more

This is my Rahu. My aquarius is ruled by it (sastabisha) and I am currently in my Rahu mahadasha untill i'm in my 30-ties (25 now). It's standing alone in the 12th house with venus in taurus from the 4th house aspecting it. I do have troubles listning to the truth. I sometimes blindside myself for my own comfort and just forget the negative things about people. They always come out in the end. My job is listning and communicating since I wirk with refugees. What I've read is that Rahu with Saturn amplifies Saturn's thirst for power and authority. It's in your 10th house (and you are Aries rising) so probably more like triple effect. I don't see it as negative, especially if you use the power you gain for the welfare of others.
I understood Rahu differently. I have this aspect in my vedic chart and I couldn't identify with anything that was said. I was never a materialistic person. And I have my ascendent sign and saturn in capricorn (uttara ashada). I am a good listener and counselor. I think my ocidental chart makes more sense to me. Capricorn is much more than earning money and working.

You're right. But with me it's jup aspecting and my philosophy is ONLY when I've achieved all the material things I can be able to renounce. What renunciation would it be if I haven't even had it in the first place. I want to go extreme negative so that the only way left to go is extreme positive.

From a very early age I was always thinking about God and the mysteries of life.
