A year ago today I uploaded my first ASMR video to this channel, so I thought I would make a super sparkly video to celebrate! As always, I tried to include triggers that get requested a lot, so we have some metal case tapping and scratching, some sequin cushion sounds, headphones over your ears, ear brushing and lots of glitter! I hope you will enjoy this sounds only video and feel free to let me know if there was anything you liked in particular, so I can include it in another video :) Thank you very much for all of your support in 2016, I appreciate it and hope to bring you lots of tingly content in 2017 :)

Why in the heck are there any people who still give thumbs downs on these videos?! Are they that vapid petty and ignorant that the world doesn't revolve around what they think is perfect? Every video I see that comes from ASMRMagic may actually not be the perfect for me, but I know for a fact, she is one of the best ASMR artists out there and does quality videos every single time, and I sincerely don't understand what kind of toad someone has to be in order to thumbs down such quality work, it's just beyond me. Maybe it's not for you, but at least respect the craft.
TheBlackB0X I'm curious. What, in your opinion, is the function of the thumbs down button? When is it ok to use it?
If you put your cursor over the top it says, ""I like this", or "I dislike this". Which decent people should use knowing full well how it reflects on how a video is viewed. Sure, in others opinion it could be a litmus for appreciation or lack thereof of the specific contextual argument of the video, example, I don't like videos that have sksksk, never have, but do I think that warrants a thumbs down? No I do not, I realize it's other peoples cup of tea, and RUclips content creators such as ASMRMagic does those types of videos well. I am of the belief thumbs up warrants a specific action of praise and thumb down is a disciplinary action of an offense. Why do I think this? because thumbs down and thumbs up have an effect on the content creators income, it reflects in the youtube algorithm. Sure a few thumbs down have no effect, but those few who don't pay attention to what they are doing are essentially saying that this youtube content creator shouldn't make a living on this video. To me, that is just wrong, you can see this content is this artists passion, and only a fool cannot at least admire the hard work she puts into her videos. As for everything else Comments, corrections, opinions etc go in the comment area. Thumbs down does not reflect a quality criticism of a video, it just is the worst kind of action you can take as a viewer.
TheBlackBOX I think generally for ASMRtists the majority of their dislikes come from people who were recommended here by RUclips. People who have no idea what ASMR is or what it can do. At the same time those who enjoy ASMR can give their opinion on whether or not they personally enjoyed the video. This is a good way for RUclipsrs to see what their viewers like and don't like so that they can continue making content to please the viewers. I don't think she minds an occasional dislike on her videos so you shouldn't let it bother you. :P

It's a small thing, but do you know what I liked the most? The fact that you listed and timestamped each different sound so I knew what to expect.
I mean, all the sounds were just great too, (like the glitter in the bags? Oh god...more of that please!) but I just like it when I have a menu of sounds like that.

TheMurlocKeeper me too, and very few ASMR people do that. I especially like how she makes it very detailed. I also watch ASMRGibi and she does too, but barely any. In a 2 hour video she'll have like 4 time stamps...
i like how you brush the whole ear with japanese pick... other asmrists just put the fluffy part in the earhole and swirl around there and thats it. but you take your time and brush the whole ear! thats why i like you the best!!!

I myself hate talking too but there's this amazing person , Aaron from asmr destiny , his voice is incredible and he only let's out a few words when he does talk , it has helped me a lot since it gets me more used to videos with little whisper in them ! But he's basically the only channel I need :).

Actually no, it's not illogical. Just as some people don't get tingles from ASMR, some people have certain preferences within the ASMR community... It's all subjective. What works for some doesn't work for everyone.
I don't know about other people, but I'll try to explain from my point of view.... I normally use ASMR videos to go to sleep, so when I hear talking, I start to focus in and pay attention to what's being said, which keeps me focused in on what's being said and doesn't allow me to drift off to sleep.
I hope that makes sense.
There have been exceptions to that, and those exceptions are in other languages... I've found Japanese/Korean to be the best for my own personal preference.

One of the things I love about this channel is all the sounds are very slow and deliberate. I know everyone has different preferences, but I tend to get annoyed with fast tapping and clicking sounds. It's one of the reasons I subscribed! My ears thank you! 💜

2016 was a really rough year for me. It started with a depression that still isn't over. But i have sleeping problems but your asmr vids always helps me fall asleep. Thankyou so mutch for all your hard work.💖☺️
This one was so good and I'm so glad it's longer than 20 minutes, I have the harder time falling asleep and with all the other videos being usually 15-30 sometimes doesn't work. Your one of the most considerate and best Asmr artists there is!

Normally, I really don't like the scratching on the metal casing, but it was so relaxing to me when you did. So slow and gentle, it was perfect!
