- I got falsely banned in dark and darker but after appealing it ironmace revoked the suspension within four hours.
I assume this happened due to some desync issues with players client side interacting with the server side, and after being reported in game by a player, the anti cheat triggers a suspension over suspicious activity. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

where do you appeal for this, on discord? also how long did it take to revoke the ban?
@@Rwnds7967I appealed in game which takes you to their website. It took 3 and a half hours to get removed. I submitted the appeal at 12:18 AM PST and I was appealed at 3:39 AM PST.

Crazy. There are so many complaints of false bans on discord/reddit/steam and IM doesn't respond to most of them for weeks to months. Streamer privilege is real 😆glad you got unbanned though

been gaming over 15 years - at high skill in most games (immortal dota, 8kd tarkov, GE in cs etc) and at no point have i ever been 'false banned'

You don't understand. A short ban like that is not because an anti cheat detected anything. It's a ban caused by being reported multiple times in a short amount of time. Developers do this to stop rage hacks from ruining the game for everyone with a hack that bypasses the anti cheat. By banning them for a couple days, it gives the developers time to look at the reported games and then either implement a permanent ban or like in this case, apologize and unban them.
Unfortunately someone with a bot farm can just use that to mass report someone and get them temporarily banned like that, which is what happened to me in Pubg in 2022.

indeed. It detected something that was not there, AKA a false positive. Every anti-cheat system in the history of automated moderation has had them.
Keep up the cope guys, false bans don't exist but 1 day pass cheats do
