Same with rogue. Only truly viable way to play it is landmine. Same with warlock.. only viable way to play is flamewalker/phantomize. Everyone else is now forced into different playstyles to try and counter these things.
For the last wendigo, it would probably be faster to instantly run into the loot room that opens opposite the wendigo, because it's always lion's head/golden, so you can use it to cheese just like first room

Damn you make it look so easy I would almost try for demigod. Probably I will only have enough play time to crawl to the gold bag. Anyway great video, it will help to improve my AP grinding.
Any time one of these HR guides comes out it just makes me think of how everyone is gonna do what they say. IE someone said run barb now that is a heavily used class in HR. Now everyone is gonna run Ice Caverns and try to run that Abyss route lol.
Ryan, that part where you said you forgot to break the ice actually baited someone in my solo HR lobby to breaking it not knowing there's like 5 skellies inside once you break it 😢. That's so evil man. Haha. Great content still but hope you can clarify it for newbies to not rush that part!
similar results can be found on crypts and it may actually be easier to grind some AP on crypts now due to the amount of people seeking to max their AP in Voyager and Exemplar in the Ice Cavnerns. You can get around 1.5k to 2k a round in Crypts
@@salty6336 yup. When I get more than one death in a row, I call it break time. Come back at another time. Usually it's less sweaty. Random of course, but coming back at a different time usually seems to work out well for me. I got really lucky this season. I only died 3 times (only twice by players) in the many games I played up until demigod. Most of it was smooth sailing in ice caves seeing very few people.
Two things I noticed in this video that tells me other people are just not going to do 3k AP in a game. 1. Barbarian damage is very good for clearing. After watching this, I am going to go full blown STR on my Cleric to finish my grind 2. Crush perk is insane for AP. I am 99% sure that you are getting chest credit AP for each chest you open with Crush. Other classes are literally NOT going to get as many chests in 15 minutes as a Barb will, not even a Bard because the song take longer than M1. Love this video, I haven't played in a month and after seeing this show up on my feed, I am definitely ready to finish my DG grind.
You can cheese the wendigo in the portal room. Simply jump on the big chest in the room in front of him (the room that open with the same lever that free the wendigo)
Great video on showing one way of getting demigod, I also really enjoyed the music with the gameplay! Question/(Maybe) Fact: As far as I know gems count more than treasure so a white gem counts the same as green treasure or even blue treasure? :D
Gems right now are worth less than their slot size counterparts at +1 rarity (some time worth equal). I think what you are saying used to be the case some time ago since I remember getting advice to always clear space for gems. The AP for all treasures right now can be found here: darkanddarker.wiki.spellsandguns.com/Misc
@@ryan6daysaweek Oh, thats very interesting and makes a lot of sense, i stopped playing around 10 or so months ago I believe :D So this is my first time really grinding for Demigod(which I reached before this video came out unfortunatly) I just remember that it was worth more money wise and then heared something about it regarding ap too and thought it must be the same :D. Thank you :)
At the end of the abyss, you can open the door to the north-west part of the imp ritual room, make the doggo fall by juking him with the ladder to have access to 3 extra large chest (and prossibely 1 golden). Free AP without risks. All you need to do is to open the door, rush the ladder, be as high as possible on it to make the doggo attacking you, go down and it will fall. At this point you have this part of the room for yourself :)
Made demigod in 41 games. Was getting roughly 1500 ap per game. Didn't take long at all. Not sure if looted armor still gives ap, but I still did it as it's become habit. I go in with very cheap gear (the cheapest blues in slot). And whenever I found something better I swapped it out and wore the new piece. And when I went back in the dungeon, I just purchased a new crappy pieces of gear to replace the old one. Fighter longsword parried the whole time with either a blue survival or recurve bow for some range. I made sure to go in with cheap gear because who cares about losing 700g worth of kit? Don't even need a cape.
Btw i would personally loot the central top room they added a loot room underneath when u pull the switch and theres a gold chests there and a way out and its near the iron key room and i also would recommend doing that room in the top left corner
I did this entire route and right as I was opening portals to leave I got killed by a warlock with legendary equipment LMFAO I ain't giving up though, but the road to Demi God is definitely rough good luck everyone, this route is awesome, just be wary of enemy players
Crypts is also super close in terms of AP. I was averaging around 1.5k and 2k there since there are fewer mobs to kill but honestly the density in some of the Inferno rooms is really good
I played ice cavern for the last 5 days to farm AP. Nearly everyone was friendly. Played 3 rounds today and got backstabbed all 3 times. Idk if it is because of the video or just bad luck
@@Tiejoo yeah, maybe 1/10 of my interactions in ice map are friendly. And sometimes you have to traverse such a distance in the map to get to abyss that you can't afford to leave 3 potential killers behind you.

Im excited to jump back in tonight knowing I wont get long ranged sniffed by players from a region we do not mention (magically got ran down for two floors two matches in a row the second I put on a near bis pdr ms fighter build for roughly 12k, and didnt know why until I saw a warlock sniff mine and a few others gear from outside of zap/curse range lol)
For anyone who would rather avoid players than take their chances in PvP, I recommend Crypts rather than Ice Cavern. In my experience, I encounter players _way_ less often in Crypts, and when I do encounter them, they almost never want to fight. 90% of my rounds there I never even see another player. Warlock also has a very easy time cheesing mobs in Inferno because the doors are unbreakable, so you can pull however many you want and then just demolish the crowd through a closed door with Hellfire.
its the same in ice cavern for me. I went to demigod in 30 games, i only did pvp for like 4 games. Id argue that ice cavern is better because the hell entrance cant be camped
Something to note for luck stackers - when you melee/smash a chest, and only a chest - for this interaction, and unlike smashing barrels/vases/boxes, the luck bonus is not applied when you smash a chest. Unless they patched it. Opening a chest is the same AP as breaking it but you will (if you have luck) have a higher chance of getting better quality treasure/items.
I tried this in a pretty friendly lobby with no problems but I was not able to get to an extract, could you include some exit strategies in the next vid perchance lol
Idk if you'll read this, but ways to exit: 1. The most obvious are at top mid and bottom mid at the portals. If you find these have all been taken, go to #2. 2. Middle right is the tall pyramid room with two demon hounds and the frost demon. This rope can be accessed by first going up the SOUTH ladder. Once both dogs and the frost demon are aggro'd onto you, drop down. Once you see the ice hounds start to run down the hallway at you, climb back up the ladder, run to the rope and get on that thing ASAP. Careful of the crossbow skele on your right. This exit is the easiest to take if you've made it to either top mid or bottom mid and realized all portals are gone. 3. If you have someone who kills the dragon in your match, you can go up to the boss platform and jump in the middle section to go up and escape (it's really obvious when its fought because it's so loud, just not so obvious whether it died or they did once its over.) 4. While I generally would not recommend planning on the middle left room rope, if you have to, all of the enemies inside can be cheesed by luring them into the room to the south and standing on the ice you can jump on, or getting them stuck in another room also works.
If I have 4 common quality one slot treasures will they give me more AP than one 4 slots uncommon quality treasure? What are the rules in this kind of situations?
Always take the higher rarity treasure. There is a rare case when it comes to gems (single slot) for swapping with some of the larger slot treasures of one rarity above but it only makes a difference of a few AP (1-2 really). In general, when comparing treasure slots just go for what ever loot combinations gives you the highest average rarity.
@@ryan6daysaweekThanks for the answer. Just to check if I understood it correctly, if I have 3 rare 1 slot items and one uncommon 1 slot item I should still prioritise a 4 slot rare item above them, right? Because it would contain 4 rare slots
The AP for kills will be split between the two of you. For odd numbers, the resulting split is first rounded down and then any remaining points are given to whoever got the killing blow. So if you kill a normal Frost Walker (5 AP) you will receive 3 points and your teammate will receive 2.
Im not sure but in my experience. With 300 gs build i get more AP per match with trios then solo. Even if it splits youll farm faster with trios and itll give more AP in the end. In my experience ofc.
Yes but the AP cost is still very low under pathfinder so you don’t have to go to abyss. I got path from just goblins caves. It’s all about efficiency and just being cautious to avoid PvP.
@@toxicmagnaguard Oh I didn't think about that, I might actually do that. If you don't go Abyss, how much AP do you usually make each game? 500 or 1000?
correct, I agree with what toxicmagnaguard said - the AP penalties are low enough in Pathfinder and under so really you can which ever map you are most comfortable with and not worry about the AP entrance fee. Ice Caverns/Ice Abyss is really just to max out every last drop of AP haha
@@toxicmagnaguard I almost never do high roller goblin cave. I feel like its gonna be same as normals, people who heavily interested in pvp r gonna pick goblin cave. How do you avoid pvp and do you encounter often?
Duos is the one party size I feel is the most balanced in the game so really any combinations of classes work as long as you and your partner work well together and are having fun. My personal favorite combinations that have found success are: Bard (10 Song) + Fighter (PDR) Bard (10 Song) + Barbarian (Rage/Roar) Cleric (Judgement, 5 spell) + Fighter (PDR) Wizard (Meditate, Overload) + Wizard (Meditate, Overload) Bard (10 Song) + Ranger (Double Ranged) Wizard (10 Spell) + Ranger (Double Ranged) Rogue (WP) + Druid (Bear) Barbarian (Rage/Roar) + Wizard (Meditate, Overload) Warlock (Demon) + Warlock (Curse) These are just some combos that I have played this wipe but truthfully any class/build combination will work. If you want a duo comp that is purely focused on AP farming then I would say the best for that scenario would be Barbarian & Bard or Rogue & Rogue (and just rat around).
Hey, I really anjoeyed the video but cant get into high roller because of my loadout. Even if I combine anything I cannot come up to 200. Is there ANY way to counter this weird feature they added?
I think the least expensive way would be to buy the cheapest rare grade (blue) two-handed weapons on the market and keep them in your inventory. They will add about 60 gear score each and typically cost ~70g
its not a weird feature, they are just seperating geared players and not... you can get 250 for under 500 gold in marketplace easily. just learn the game
As much as I would want to grind AP, I hate PvP in HR. I do get the challenge, I just get killed every time there's a hostile player regardless of the situation I'm in. In 124 GS normals the PvP feels amazing and competitive! In HR it feels like everybody is cheating.
it feels everyone is cheating because desperate tryahrders can't live without flexing their 150k gold full maxed 600gear score that will oneshot you just by watching you 💀
13hours is misleading cuz there are people who are new to the game and need to learn all the attack patterns etc, so no way 13hours, maybe for someone who palyed this game forever even than only if u dont die in the top ranks
The real question now is...Risk vs reward. With the recent change to HR going from 100gold to enter, no gear score req to NO gold to enter, 225 gs req....It is arguably MORE time efficient and safer to grind a room and the moment you see a way out you take it, whether it be stairs, rope, boat, or lift. Going deeper slows down your time to kill and increases your chance at running into other players. If your goal is PVP then go that route, but if ur ap grinding, Id argue in and out as fast as possible.
for the lower brackets this may be the case but for the upper brackets it essentially saves you the -800 AP entrance fee by traveling down to the second layer
@@ryan6daysaweek True. At the highest ranks the ap ante would offset my comment, however id say up to Exemplar 3, where the ante doubles, is the cut off. In other words if the ante is bellow 650, id say my path is mathematically safer. You can earn 650 ap in a few minutes, clearing a few modules and get out with a positive AP, with far less chance of seeing anyone than if you grind out 20 minutes worth of a map that gets progressively harder and smaller. Think of it this way. The first boat on ice caverns leaves in what, give or take 2.5 minutes? In 2.5 minutes you can have the entire boat room and a room next to it cleared and looted if you are efficient (especially as a warlock). And the odds of someone showing up in that 2.5 minute window are low compared to if you stay the whole map, both levels. I love pvp, but its inefficient at ap grinding. So if your sole objective is to grind ap in the fastest safest way, IMHO: do my idea before exmplar 3, and your idea after. its also worth noting, that simply going deeper in ice or crypts costs 100 ap. So factor that in too.
@@owo3632 im not arguing that. Im arguing the risk vs the reward. Ap is nice to get but you lose it all if u die. If if you dont pvp, just being NEAR another player will slow you down, cause now you have to worry about them. On top of that, going deeper automatically costs you 100 ap to do. At some point it becomes an AP/min equation.
It depends on player skill level. If you never die to PvE and you're good at escaping or defending yourself in PvP it's gonna be a very different equation compared to someone dying to both PvE and PvP very regularly.
Does AP per looted item only apply to what you extract with? I shouldn't be rotating stuff in and out of my inventory like I would in Tarkov for extra xp, right?
Ice Caverns is the most hated map because of the slow stacks when hit by skeletons and not shit else. Its vastly uncontested and learning the PvE and map gives any player a massive advantage in a game that's about advantages and disadvantages.
stupid question probably but im kinda new to the game, if you die in the second stage of the map, for exemple in this vidéo if you die in ice abyss, do you loose all your AP from the first map or does it count separately ?
Yes, you will lose all accrued AP - the only time your character actually earns AP is when they extract from a map. All points gathered up until then are not counted.
As a fellow barbarian farming AP, I don't like breaking boxes, which is what you do in this video, because smaller treasure might get covered by a bigger item completely, without you being able to mouse over it to see it, e.g. by a Straw Hat. Would suck missing out on smaller treasure of high rarity or even Golden Skill Tokens because of that. Opening the chest takes longer, but it's more reliable that way. Also, lol at saying that PVP is not worth AP-wise at the start of the video, even showing the 0 player kills in your AP summary table, but then showing clips of you doing nothing but PVP until the Abyss section of the video. You are sending mixed signals here!
in the lower end of the ranks I found PvP worth it since most of the eliminations would be 100+ AP per. Once you get past there though it isn't that worth seeking out PvP so I would just do it if necessary
I love how that dude was like "i dont wanna pvp" and you clubbed him over the head like a baby seal. What a dark and darker player. At least you didn't pretend to be friendly then hit him in the back like some
everyone I met said it was so easy, everyone is friendly yeah no, everyone fucking charges me. this is harder than it looks because everyone is doing the same and you will meet so many people who clear entire rooms aswell..
No, it doesnt. Max it gives is 10 AP (depending what ore you mined) and only for the 1st ore mined. So if you mine 5 stacks of silver ore, it only counts for the initial stack. 10 AP. Kinda stupid because other things can stack and get multiple AP earned
other commenter nail it. Ore only gives a little bit of AP for the first piece of ore that is mined from the node. It can take much longer than finding and killing a basic mob too depending on your class so for just AP purposes mining should be avoided.
i ran a 40 resource druid kit with high interact speed and literally vacuumed every ore on the map until the last extract on gc and was getting negative ap so yea
I don't get it, the wiki page said that weapon/armor gives 1 | 2 | 3 | 6 | 10 | 20 | 30 AP per slot depending on rarity, whereas treasures give 1, 2, ..., 7 AP per item independent of size. Is this information incorrect? Because this means that I should not take any treasure, only take Items.
I believe I found the section of the wiki you are referring you and it is a bit confusing. Treasures do give 1,2, ..., 7 AP per item independent of size and also give additional AP for their Treasure value. If you want to see the Treasure values, you can follow this link here: darkanddarker.wiki.spellsandguns.com/Misc
@@ryan6daysaweek Thanks, I missed the second line when reading the wiki. So basically nearly every item give AP base on their sell price, and treasures give an additional AP base on rarity on top of the sell price AP is what I understood.

@@EAErue I think GC is just an easier clear. Druid can just run away from PvP in almost all situations, so at that point you can just run around and kill gobbos incredibly fast. Lez should reply and tell us what they meant. That's just my assumption
in my opinion. ice caverns is the best ap grinding map for druid, i almost never die and get a kill or disengage. you can get to insane spots with chicken double jump. you dont need panther e to do it either. you can effectively cheese every single enemy in the entire map since you can chicken jump onto rocks. so many spots you can reach up high and rat form and never even be seen or make an easy deaggro. too many people sleep on the fact you can just jump in human form and switch to chicken midair for a double jump. plus the panther e into chicken lets you cover huge gaps, cornering people much more than any other map since every module is very open with drops and bridges. the verticality of the map makes it a perfect place for a druid that knows what they are doing. goblin caves is great for druid dont get me wrong,t but the noteworthy loot spots are very congested and tight, making it hard to make use of bear unless you kite them or bait them into the next room. which high level players will not do because they will want to keep the advantage not to mention goblin caves likes to not let you transform. (jumping before you transform can help at times). as for crypts, its even worse than gob caves. its very tight, hard to use bear. but its easier to get away because you have door windows. inferno is definitely better, its very open and has large modules but the risk of having to take a fight in a super small corridor and not being able to use your classes strongsuit effectively before you even make it to inferno actually ends up killing me more than anything else. long story short i just think the openness in ice is so much better, you are always at an advantage at the start of a fight in any room on that map because you can instantly flank, get above them, or disengage in seconds.
was able to get druid to demigod within 12 hours and under 20 games it’s definitely one of the best characters for ice cave.. not the worst.. you literally have infinite heals + you can shapeshift to get to cheese spots or help yourself get out of certain situations.

Instead rushing the Windigo in the top right was always the best play (followed by destroying those ice walls you forgot)
Finally someone actually made it clear. I really appreciate it!
Good showcase of movement speed bardiche barb being a huge problem right now. 10/10 demonstration

I believe in you, my gamer
Any time one of these HR guides comes out it just makes me think of how everyone is gonna do what they say. IE someone said run barb now that is a heavily used class in HR. Now everyone is gonna run Ice Caverns and try to run that Abyss route lol.
God I love hard games it’s the only thing that keeps me invested in gaming anymore
I MUST get all these cosmetics no matter what
Ryan, that part where you said you forgot to break the ice actually baited someone in my solo HR lobby to breaking it not knowing there's like 5 skellies inside once you break it 😢. That's so evil man. Haha. Great content still but hope you can clarify it for newbies to not rush that part!
Tried this, was avaraging -200 ap per hour, simply getting hunted down by 3k hour sweats every game :D
similar results can be found on crypts and it may actually be easier to grind some AP on crypts now due to the amount of people seeking to max their AP in Voyager and Exemplar in the Ice Cavnerns. You can get around 1.5k to 2k a round in Crypts
@ryan6daysaweek I feel likes it's either way honestly, had a day where I was losing on HR crypts all day too, it just depends
maybe try a class that can avoid PvP like rogue or druid
@@salty6336 yup. When I get more than one death in a row, I call it break time. Come back at another time. Usually it's less sweaty. Random of course, but coming back at a different time usually seems to work out well for me. I got really lucky this season. I only died 3 times (only twice by players) in the many games I played up until demigod. Most of it was smooth sailing in ice caves seeing very few people.
super relaxing tbh
Two things I noticed in this video that tells me other people are just not going to do 3k AP in a game.
1. Barbarian damage is very good for clearing. After watching this, I am going to go full blown STR on my Cleric to finish my grind

@@ryan6daysaweek Oh, thats very interesting and makes a lot of sense, i stopped playing around 10 or so months ago I believe :D So this is my first time really grinding for Demigod(which I reached before this video came out unfortunatly)
I just remember that it was worth more money wise and then heared something about it regarding ap too and thought it must be the same :D.
Thank you :)
double jump rogue is great pick especially for inexperienced players, getting into safe spots helps a lot
Im pretty sure as long as you take and wear that new looted gear on your character, it does count as AP earned for that match
bug grats on the demi and yep! Looted gear still gives AP!
Can you loot items then drop them for others to get more AP? Appreciate the guide! Hitting that sub button
Fyi 07:20 , you can cheese the windigo more easily on the left of the chest on the wall, it's jumpable
16:14 A slightly better cheese spot for the Wendigo is to run and crouch jump behind the chest directly across from the Wendigo.
Btw i would personally loot the central top room they added a loot room underneath when u pull the switch and theres a gold chests there and a way out and its near the iron key room and i also would recommend doing that room in the top left corner
i think opening chest also get some ap, why did u don't just open normaly??
or destroy the chest also got ap???

I ain't giving up though, but the road to Demi God is definitely rough
good luck everyone, this route is awesome, just be wary of enemy players
I get the feeling this video is going to crush my chances of hitting exemplar on wizard in ice caves

Hi Ryan, great video. Any chance you can make a similar video on crypts?
Yooo let's gooooooo
Something to note for luck stackers - when you melee/smash a chest, and only a chest - for this interaction, and unlike smashing barrels/vases/boxes, the luck bonus is not applied when you smash a chest. Unless they patched it. Opening a chest is the same AP as breaking it but you will (if you have luck) have a higher chance of getting better quality treasure/items.
I tried this in a pretty friendly lobby with no problems but I was not able to get to an extract, could you include some exit strategies in the next vid perchance lol
Idk if you'll read this, but ways to exit:
3. If you have someone who kills the dragon in your match, you can go up to the boss platform and jump in the middle section to go up and escape (it's really obvious when its fought because it's so loud, just not so obvious whether it died or they did once its over.)
4. While I generally would not recommend planning on the middle left room rope, if you have to, all of the enemies inside can be cheesed by luring them into the room to the south and standing on the ice you can jump on, or getting them stuck in another room also works.
I'm a undead bomb cleric in ice maps it works pretty well and people don't seem aggressive with clerics
Can’t wait to queue up and fight people 6 ranks higher than me wearing full frostlight crafted gear!

How does the AP for mob kills work in like duo's do we just both get the kills for the mobs or is it only killing blow ?
Killing blow gets the credit
The AP for kills will be split between the two of you. For odd numbers, the resulting split is first rounded down and then any remaining points are given to whoever got the killing blow. So if you kill a normal Frost Walker (5 AP) you will receive 3 points and your teammate will receive 2.
Im not sure but in my experience. With 300 gs build i get more AP per match with trios then solo. Even if it splits youll farm faster with trios and itll give more AP in the end. In my experience ofc.
So, if we only want to get pathfinder, that would be around 4 games like this one right?
@@ryan6daysaweek Thanks for the answer!

Can U recommend classes for duo high roll?
Duos is the one party size I feel is the most balanced in the game so really any combinations of classes work as long as you and your partner work well together and are having fun. My personal favorite combinations that have found success are:
Bard (10 Song) + Fighter (PDR)
Bard (10 Song) + Barbarian (Rage/Roar)
Cleric (Judgement, 5 spell) + Fighter (PDR)
Wizard (Meditate, Overload) + Wizard (Meditate, Overload)
Bard (10 Song) + Ranger (Double Ranged)
Wizard (10 Spell) + Ranger (Double Ranged)
Rogue (WP) + Druid (Bear)
Barbarian (Rage/Roar) + Wizard (Meditate, Overload)
Warlock (Demon) + Warlock (Curse)
These are just some combos that I have played this wipe but truthfully any class/build combination will work. If you want a duo comp that is purely focused on AP farming then I would say the best for that scenario would be Barbarian & Bard or Rogue & Rogue (and just rat around).
Is the skin on pathfinder for the class you play at the moment or for every class ?
once you hit exemplar 2 the bloodthirsty wizards come out.
these wizards come out of the shadows to represent their monetary focused organization
I know you should play what you know for hr, but you need a game plan for high speed barbs, rogues and wizards who will chase you down.
Does wearing Looted clothing out count anymore? Like constant gear swapping every round for extra points?
yeah "Looted" gear will count if extracted in your inventory or on your character
I couldn't even get a class to 30 the wipe when multiclass existed, and they buffed xp 4 times that wipe. No way I'm getting anywhere but basekit LR
link that music in the ice abyss please and thank you. piano very calming 10/10
As much as I would want to grind AP, I hate PvP in HR. I do get the challenge, I just get killed every time there's a hostile player regardless of the situation I'm in. In 124 GS normals the PvP feels amazing and competitive! In HR it feels like everybody is cheating.
it feels everyone is cheating because desperate tryahrders can't live without flexing their 150k gold full maxed 600gear score that will oneshot you just by watching you 💀
13hours is misleading cuz there are people who are new to the game and need to learn all the attack patterns etc, so no way 13hours, maybe for someone who palyed this game forever even than only if u dont die in the top ranks
this is true, 13 hours is my experience - some will take longer and some may be faster
So factor that in too.
you get so much more ap in the 2nd level
@@owo3632 im not arguing that. Im arguing the risk vs the reward. Ap is nice to get but you lose it all if u die. If if you dont pvp, just being NEAR another player will slow you down, cause now you have to worry about them.
On top of that, going deeper automatically costs you 100 ap to do. At some point it becomes an AP/min equation.
It depends on player skill level. If you never die to PvE and you're good at escaping or defending yourself in PvP it's gonna be a very different equation compared to someone dying to both PvE and PvP very regularly.
Would you mind linking the song from when you're farming AP? Having trouble finding it.
Does AP per looted item only apply to what you extract with? I shouldn't be rotating stuff in and out of my inventory like I would in Tarkov for extra xp, right?
It's based on what you extract with.
exactly what charlie said - you only receive AP for items you extract with. They will also have to have the "Looted" tag
How does gold coins compare for AP? is it worth bringing in a coin bag or two?
gold coins won't count towards any AP unfortunately
Ice Caverns is the most hated map because of the slow stacks when hit by skeletons and not shit else. Its vastly uncontested and learning the PvE and map gives any player a massive advantage in a game that's about advantages and disadvantages.
stupid question probably but im kinda new to the game, if you die in the second stage of the map, for exemple in this vidéo if you die in ice abyss, do you loose all your AP from the first map or does it count separately ?
you lose everything till that point. you also lose ap depending on what rank you are on
lose it all
Yes, you will lose all accrued AP - the only time your character actually earns AP is when they extract from a map. All points gathered up until then are not counted.

what about the rarity for the treasure itself? Should I bring 4 grey treasures over 1 green 4 slot treasure?
New to barb, any reason you're using a club over like a horsemans axe?
Once you get past there though it isn't that worth seeking out PvP so I would just do it if necessary

idk if i missed it in the beginning but does ore give any good ap?
No, it doesnt. Max it gives is 10 AP (depending what ore you mined) and only for the 1st ore mined. So if you mine 5 stacks of silver ore, it only counts for the initial stack. 10 AP. Kinda stupid because other things can stack and get multiple AP earned
other commenter nail it. Ore only gives a little bit of AP for the first piece of ore that is mined from the node. It can take much longer than finding and killing a basic mob too depending on your class so for just AP purposes mining should be avoided.

AP grinding on druid is insane on crypt or goblin cave never go ice on druid if youre AP farming
Bro i was thinking the same thing but couldnt figure out why druids bad in ice cavern. Why do u think that is?
@@EAErue I think GC is just an easier clear. Druid can just run away from PvP in almost all situations, so at that point you can just run around and kill gobbos incredibly fast. Lez should reply and tell us what they meant. That's just my assumption
i get fuck all ap in gc
in my opinion. ice caverns is the best ap grinding map for druid, i almost never die and get a kill or disengage. you can get to insane spots with chicken double jump. you dont need panther e to do it either. you can effectively cheese every single enemy in the entire map since you can chicken jump onto rocks. so many spots you can reach up high and rat form and never even be seen or make an easy deaggro. too many people sleep on the fact you can just jump in human form and switch to chicken midair for a double jump. plus the panther e into chicken lets you cover huge gaps, cornering people much more than any other map since every module is very open with drops and bridges. the verticality of the map makes it a perfect place for a druid that knows what they are doing. goblin caves is great for druid dont get me wrong,t but the noteworthy loot spots are very congested and tight, making it hard to make use of bear unless you kite them or bait them into the next room. which high level players will not do because they will want to keep the advantage not to mention goblin caves likes to not let you transform.
