  • Leonard Ravenhill was a fiery preacher from the 20th century. He spoke the Word of God with boldness and stirred up God's people to prayer and intercession. He spoke against apostasy and sin in the church. He rebuked lukewarmness and apathy. He rebuked the false teachers of the prosperity gospel and was good friends with David Wilkerson. Paul Washer once said he would rather have Leonard Ravenhill than a 1000 dead Calvinists. In this fiery sermon jam Leonard Ravenhill speaks about the crucified life and the life which is dead to sin and the world. He speaks of Paul being dead to the world and the world dead to him. Hope this sermon jam stirs up your heart for God.

    I do not think I would be on the right path today, if it were not for Ravenhill. I prayed a prayer of salvation many years before I finally surrendered to God. Ravenhill, David Wilkerson and Bible study saved my soul. America needs men of God.

    1 John 5:18We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.
    We must be born again, “not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible seed.”

      Satan will Continually tempt a saved soul. A perfect example is Job. God will allow the enemy to come in and test us and test our faith and see if we will sin by murmuring, swearing, getting angry etc God is purging us and sancifiying us in our trials. This is why we need the full armour of God. The people that Satan wants are Saints, he already has the lost ones. Paul tells us to endure until the end!

    • @Ambassador-For-Christ

      There is Calvinism taught in the Bible !! It is taught by Christ Himself !! BUT it is NOT for us today !!! You practice Calvinism today, and you will never set a foot in heaven !! That is a 100% promise that WILL come true !! To practice Calvinism today, is a rejection of the Cross of Christ, plain and simple !! Here is you problem of understanding scripture.... 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV - "Rightly Divide the word of truth" !! Now read the following four verses, giving thought to every word written .... Matthew 15:24 KJV, Romans 15:8 KJV and Matthew 10:5-6 KJV ... now tell me where you fit into those four verses !! The answer is ... those four verses exclude you !! So, do you know where in scripture that you are not excluded ???

    If Jesus died to pay the debt for my sins then he would still be dead and I wouldn't be required to be crucified on my own cross. Two people can't pay for the same sins. If crucify my own flesh then I am resurrected into new life and it has nothing to do with anyone else.

Jesus emphatically said in Mark 10:21 " take up the cross, and follow me" beloved your cross is for death not for play. Let no man deceive u with this modern Christianity of once save for ever save. I agree with all except the acting drunk in the Holy Spirit part. Maybe it was bad choice of words or example but we are to be sober minded with self control, drunkenness of any kind is neither of those things.

    • @shadowlands8490
      @shadowlands8490 2 года назад +1

      Lately there are false preachers on every corner, so I agree drunk in the spirit is no longer a part of Churchianity. Only true Christians are filled with the spirit, and they are sober.
      Being drunk in the spirit hasn't happened for decades, but it is rare.

      Being drunk doesn't prevent you from being sober. It simply means to be led or actively led by the spirit.

      All he was focusing on was the fact that the world cannot get to such a man when “intoxicated” with God, seriously, let’s not over analyze like that: that can be done to anyone’s words, example from our great Rabbi, “I come as a thief in the night”.
      Let’s not do that to the Preacher
      God rest

    • @pearladams4817

      I think you need to delete Ephesians 5:18 from your Bible. It says, "And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit." Is it the phrase "drunk with the Spirit that terrifies you." If you are not "intoxicated' by God, then you need to ask for this experience with Him. Stop nit-picking!
