Really. . . Odd and do you know David Wilkerson personally? The Body of Christ aka The Church needs more men like Jesus Christ and not men like David Wilkerson in my humble opinion. I mean who is he and what did he do for you, David Wilkerson, that is?!? In the word of God. . . Our brother Paul and other religious leaders originally called Christ followers "The Way" before they were called Christians, because they followed Christs ways as He commanded them to do if they wanted to make it to heaven. As Christian means Christ like. . . To often these days, I see ppl misuse the word Church. Church is not a place and the Bible makes that quite clear. . . The Church aka bridegroom aka Body of believers and not the buildings they gather in to worship, are The Church. You are the Church. . . I am the Church. . . And any man, woman or child on Gods green earth that truly believes in the entire word of God, and keeps said word, is The Church according to Jesus Christ aka The Word. . . As He is and was the Word made Man! He said what the Church needs is His Word aka The Bible and to genuinely Love one another as He loved US. . . So much so that He died for you sacrificially after spending years loving and helping ppl period!!! The Church needs the Word of God, not David Wilkerson or any other man, as we are all flawed, but it needs the Son of God aka Word aka Jesus Christ. It NEEDS men like Paul and The disciples who genuinely preach it and teach it as Jesus commanded us to do in Mathew 28:16. . . true followers/disciples of Christ Jesus! Not men who spend their days pointing out other men's flaws!!! May God bless and keep you. . . Read your Bible and share what you read. . . Especially the Gospel! As it is not about us. . . It is all about Him!
When I was around 17-18 years old, I was groomed into one of these “prosperity churches”. I am now 32 and married. When I began to question the leadership, I was shunned by the church and eventually left. After I left, I stayed in contact with some of the congregation. Some of the congregation informed me that the leadership advised them no to take any books or advise from me. I came from dysfunction family and so did many of the other teens there. I recall some teens self-harming and feeling depressed and lost and the leadership never once got involved to sit down with them or see how they could help, they only asked for money and said a quick prayer. The name of that Church is “Bridge Church Kilwinning” based in Scotland, I left it a bad review on google to warn other people from falling into the same trap that I did, if you have time, I would appreciate it if you did the same. I am not entirely ready to turn my life around and give up all my vices, but at the same time I acknowledge this and don’t act like these hypocrites who claim to be men of God. I still fast from time to time as an offering to God, but I chose to do this not wising for anything in return, just because it’s my choice.
He was my Pastor for years. We’d call him Papa Dave because those of us who served in the prayer ministry would be at church on Sunday from 8 am to around 9:30 pm, much of it on our feet. In between services we’d sit in the sanctuary to hopefully get some rest. He’d walk through and stop and talk to each one of us. Ask how we were, how was our week, thank us for our faithfulness, make jokes with us. Like a grandpa. How I miss him 😢

There is no Preacher that is so passionate about souls. He has Holy Anger as he desperately speaks the truth. If we had more of Pastor David, this world would be a better place 🙌👏🙏

Perhaps he's wanting to reveal the mystery of this intimacy, etc is only found in the (unimaginable) posture of resting (not striving).

If only we could hear Brother David preach today-in 2024!! JESUS SAVES!! He saved me from depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and behaviors. I almost died in 2012 and in 2019 until I finally called on Him to save me and HE DID! Not only did He save me, but He healed me, too. Go to him and ask for forgiveness. Ask Him to be in your heart and He will come to you. Ask Him to pour His Holy Spirit onto you and guide you through this life and walk with Him. Jesus Christ died on cross just so that our sins can be forgiven. No sin is too great. Just believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for us and resurrected from the dead. Confess with your mouth JESUS IS LORD. Call upon Him. The great I AM is coming soon! The creator of all things is soon to come! Time is running out! With love, I ask you to have faith. We all, believers and nonbelievers, will have to face His judgment someday. Wow! God used pastor Dave's sermons to change me in the past but every time I hear his sermons I want to run to my Bible and my secret closet to spend time with the Lord.
His boldness comes from a sure and certain conviction, something we should all desire and seek God for. Without faithful preaching the world is lost, we NEED so many men with this conviction.
He was one of the mighty! His life story, The Cross and the Switchblade was shown at my church in the 70s ...I'm so grateful to God for my grandfathers prayers, my mothers prayers and God's grace!
I thank the Lord for David and the truth he shared. I miss him. He was truly of a different breed filled with the Spirit. I thank God he left us some very powerful sermons.
Same the holy spirit led me to him a week after I truly got saved after a decade of lukewarm. I feel the righteous anger, wrath and courage of God when this man of God speaks. It always reminds me that I can't be a coward and preach a sugar coated gospel to please people.

After I gave my life to Jesus 8 years ago, I wasn’t saved even though I thought I was, but that was because I went to one of my aunts who is a “supposed born-again Christian” and I asked her if there’s any pastors for me to listen to and she pointed me to Joyce Meyers 🤦🏻♀️, so me not knowing any thing AT ALL, I went to RUclips and looked up Joyce Meyers and listened to her for a couple months without reading my BIBLE, then something which now I know was the Holy Spirit kept pressing upon me and letting me know that something isn’t right so I started to pray to God again without even reading my Bible, and I asked God to show me if what I am listening to is the TRUTH or not, not even 1 week later I deleted everything from Joyce Meyers. I picked up my Bible to Jeremiah about idolatry and that’s when I had my encounter with the Holy Spirit that night and that’s when I was TRULY born-again and Saved and then about I’d say 3 days later is when I found Pastor David Wilkerson , and that’s when I knew what a real pastor of the Bible was. I also went to my aunt who told me about Joyce Meyers to let her know that not only is Joyce Meyers a false prosperity preacher, but also that she’s not even permitted to be a pastor because the Bible tells us that a woman is not permitted to teach or usurp authority over men. That didn’t sit well with my aunt especially being she was “supposedly saved for 25 years” and now she has her niece who gave her life to Christ about six months ago telling her that the person she told her to watch and listen to is false, so it’s 8 years later and my aunt is still lost so please just keep her in prayer and the rest of my family, and I cannot wait to meet you David Wilkerson when I get to heaven, obviously my first priority is God/Jesus, but I can’t wait to meet all the great deceased Pastors who I listen to Great video brother Caleb

I broke into tears 2 days ago over reading Ezekiel 33:32 in my daily reading routine. and this is the 3rd time in 48 hours God is reminding me of this verse. It hits hard. I have a strong testimony thanks to my Lord Jesus Christ, turning me away from gay pursuits and seeking his presence all day. But my heart breaks over not finding a communion of brethren in Christ. I am scared to be lukewarm myself but attending churches made me so depressed. And people got uneasy with me talking so I turned away and I am completely alone with God, a bit anxious to be very honest with you all.
This is the most powerful message I've ever heard. So many brothers and sisters I tell, be careful what you allow yourself to watch. May I walk as an alien in this world! Amen, Brother!

That said, I had lived many years under a pentecostal theology, along with its fearful and distancing "Wizard of Oz" imagery of our God. However, I now thank Him for revealing the true paradigm shift that came through New Covenant, ushered in through Christ. Thankfully, I now get to walk and experience true intimacy and comfort of son relationship with my Heavenly Daddy (available for those who dare believe it). I now get to walk with him in confidence that I am emphatically the righteousness of my Daddy through Christ alone, as well as experiencing the unimaginable that our God who created the cosmos "actually" indwells me: Holy Spirit, the mind of Christ. Our maturity as a Believer isn't our zeal or even knowledge gathered from Written Word... for there are multiplicities of differing theologies, concluded through man's knowledge based abilities from those Written Words. The mature journey for the Believer can only manifest through our proper understanding of and positioning before our God in New Covenant.. as the truly unimaginable of "The Word" (John 1:1) is now indwelling us, doing everything needed in the journey, as we simply REST. Everything else is our infant position before Him.

David Wilkerson had the heart of God because he KNEW God. He was a genuine prophet, a “man of a different spirit”, who, like the “no names” of Hebrews 11, was one “of whom the world was not worthy” (Hebrews 11:38). May we heed the word of God spoken through this vessel whose heart God broke over the Church at ease.

Whew. I saw the title and saw the pictures with David Wilkerson and the first impression was you were equating him with the others. I don't know of a more needful voice for our time, he was a lifter up of Jesus, a rare and real preacher of Righteousness.
He has the same spirit of speaking to people as Billy Graham. Hallelujah! Their sermons really touch my journey with God. Having work colleagues who are passionate with ocultism, death, additions and telling them I am a Christian and have faith, it's hard and painful seeing there are so rare followers. 😪Cause people loved more the dark than the Light.

Good Morning Caleb! We need man like David Wilkerson to preach the truth in modern churches. Most of the churches today are either man-centered, NAR, prosperity, and Word of Faith gospel. We need man that preach the truth.

He can give you way better than cake, even a la mode. But don't listen to Wilkerson. He was a single-gift Cessationist, I guess you could say, in the vein of Ravenhill. It was ok to say God told me this or that, thousands of prophetic words, all from God, but no healing, no miracles, no tongues, none of the other gifts. It was a select branch of Holiness teaching that they followed. Keith Green too, who got killed. Wilkerson eventually gets himself killed by running into a lumber truck. Pray about it, brother Wade.

Where I live the Christian radio station still airs some of the sermons of J. Vernon McGee and Adrian Rogers, as well as the God-fearing preaching of John MacArthur. These convicting sermons are what a Bible believing Church should expect to hear, and heed.

As Christian means Christ like. . . To often these days, I see ppl misuse the word Church. Church is not a place and the Bible makes that quite clear. . . The Church aka bridegroom aka Body of believers and not the buildings they gather in to worship, are The Church. You are the Church. . . I am the Church. . . And any man, woman or child on Gods green earth that truly believes in the entire word of God, and keeps said word, is The Church according to Jesus Christ aka The Word. . . As He is and was the Word made Man! He said what the Church needs is His Word aka The Bible and to genuinely Love one another as He loved US. . . So much so that He died for you sacrificially after spending years loving and helping ppl period!!! The Church needs the Word of God, not David Wilkerson or any other man, as we are all flawed, but it needs the Son of God aka Word aka Jesus Christ. It NEEDS men like Paul and The disciples who genuinely preach it and teach it as Jesus commanded us to do in Mathew 28:16. . . true followers/disciples of Christ Jesus! Not men who spend their days pointing out other men's flaws!!! May God bless and keep you. . . Read your Bible and share what you read. . . Especially the Gospel! As it is not about us. . . It is all about Him!
When I was around 17-18 years old, I was groomed into one of these “prosperity churches”. I am now 32 and married. When I began to question the leadership, I was shunned by the church and eventually left. After I left, I stayed in contact with some of the congregation. Some of the congregation informed me that the leadership advised them no to take any books or advise from me. I came from dysfunction family and so did many of the other teens there. I recall some teens self-harming and feeling depressed and lost and the leadership never once got involved to sit down with them or see how they could help, they only asked for money and said a quick prayer. The name of that Church is “Bridge Church Kilwinning” based in Scotland, I left it a bad review on google to warn other people from falling into the same trap that I did, if you have time, I would appreciate it if you did the same. I am not entirely ready to turn my life around and give up all my vices, but at the same time I acknowledge this and don’t act like these hypocrites who claim to be men of God. I still fast from time to time as an offering to God, but I chose to do this not wising for anything in return, just because it’s my choice.
He was my Pastor for years. We’d call him Papa Dave because those of us who served in the prayer ministry would be at church on Sunday from 8 am to around 9:30 pm, much of it on our feet. In between services we’d sit in the sanctuary to hopefully get some rest. He’d walk through and stop and talk to each one of us. Ask how we were, how was our week, thank us for our faithfulness, make jokes with us. Like a grandpa. How I miss him 😢

After I gave my life to Jesus 8 years ago, I wasn’t saved even though I thought I was, but that was because I went to one of my aunts who is a “supposed born-again Christian” and I asked her if there’s any pastors for me to listen to and she pointed me to Joyce Meyers 🤦🏻♀️, so me not knowing any thing AT ALL, I went to RUclips and looked up Joyce Meyers and listened to her for a couple months without reading my BIBLE, then something which now I know was the Holy Spirit kept pressing upon me and letting me know that something isn’t right so I started to pray to God again without even reading my Bible, and I asked God to show me if what I am listening to is the TRUTH or not, not even 1 week later I deleted everything from Joyce Meyers. I picked up my Bible to Jeremiah about idolatry and that’s when I had my encounter with the Holy Spirit that night and that’s when I was TRULY born-again and Saved and then about I’d say 3 days later is when I found Pastor David Wilkerson , and that’s when I knew what a real pastor of the Bible was. I also went to my aunt who told me about Joyce Meyers to let her know that not only is Joyce Meyers a false prosperity preacher, but also that she’s not even permitted to be a pastor because the Bible tells us that a woman is not permitted to teach or usurp authority over men. That didn’t sit well with my aunt especially being she was “supposedly saved for 25 years” and now she has her niece who gave her life to Christ about six months ago telling her that the person she told her to watch and listen to is false, so it’s 8 years later and my aunt is still lost so please just keep her in prayer and the rest of my family, and I cannot wait to meet you David Wilkerson when I get to heaven, obviously my first priority is God/Jesus, but I can’t wait to meet all the great deceased Pastors who I listen to

I broke into tears 2 days ago over reading Ezekiel 33:32 in my daily reading routine. and this is the 3rd time in 48 hours God is reminding me of this verse. It hits hard. I have a strong testimony thanks to my Lord Jesus Christ, turning me away from gay pursuits and seeking his presence all day. But my heart breaks over not finding a communion of brethren in Christ. I am scared to be lukewarm myself but attending churches made me so depressed. And people got uneasy with me talking so I turned away and I am completely alone with God, a bit anxious to be very honest with you all.
Stand strong and be steadfast..... He will not abandon, disappoint or fail to meet your hunger for him.
Lord, help me preach with the boldness of David Wilkerson, for your glory.

That said, I had lived many years under a pentecostal theology, along with its fearful and distancing "Wizard of Oz" imagery of our God. However, I now thank Him for revealing the true paradigm shift that came through New Covenant, ushered in through Christ. Thankfully, I now get to walk and experience true intimacy and comfort of son relationship with my Heavenly Daddy (available for those who dare believe it). I now get to walk with him in confidence that I am emphatically the righteousness of my Daddy through Christ alone, as well as experiencing the unimaginable that our God who created the cosmos "actually" indwells me: Holy Spirit, the mind of Christ. Our maturity as a Believer isn't our zeal or even knowledge gathered from Written Word... for there are multiplicities of differing theologies, concluded through man's knowledge based abilities from those Written Words. The mature journey for the Believer can only manifest through our proper understanding of and positioning before our God in New Covenant.. as the truly unimaginable of "The Word" (John 1:1) is now indwelling us, doing everything needed in the journey, as we simply REST. Everything else is our infant position before Him.

He was a genuine prophet, a “man of a different spirit”, who, like the “no names” of Hebrews 11, was one “of whom the world was not worthy” (Hebrews 11:38). Whew. I saw the title and saw the pictures with David Wilkerson and the first impression was you were equating him with the others.
I don't know of a more needful voice for our time, he was a lifter up of Jesus, a rare and real preacher of Righteousness.
He has the same spirit of speaking to people as Billy Graham. Hallelujah! Their sermons really touch my journey with God. Having work colleagues who are passionate with ocultism, death, additions and telling them I am a Christian and have faith, it's hard and painful seeing there are so rare followers. 😪Cause people loved more the dark than the Light.

@@offthekirb Yeah, we had to come back cause we didn't know what was going to happen and I was just bleeding money in lockdown. Hope Emma gets better. I'll pray for her brother. I was telling my brother about the way you used "the most hated man in the world" presentation. That was so good. It was really convicting when people would walk away.

Good Morning Caleb! We need man like David Wilkerson to preach the truth in modern churches. Most of the churches today are either man-centered, NAR, prosperity, and Word of Faith gospel. We need man that preach the truth.

He can give you way better than cake, even a la mode. But don't listen to Wilkerson. He was a single-gift Cessationist, I guess you could say, in the vein of Ravenhill. It was ok to say God told me this or that, thousands of prophetic words, all from God, but no healing, no miracles, no tongues, none of the other gifts. It was a select branch of Holiness teaching that they followed. Keith Green too, who got killed. Wilkerson eventually gets himself killed by running into a lumber truck. Pray about it, brother Wade.

Where I live the Christian radio station still airs some of the sermons of J. Vernon McGee and Adrian Rogers, as well as the God-fearing preaching of John MacArthur. These convicting sermons are what a Bible believing Church should expect to hear, and heed.

Of course it’s nice that people are echoing the spoken word by those before them. HOWEVER… the end times remnant believer must be the voice crying out, shouting for all to hear. You are that new voice when the revealed word, the very spirit of the word comes upon you. SHOUT it, or be judged because you were silent. Choose.
