That's a well built house in the clip starting at 2:41. It didn't break, it stayed together very well for what it went through.
That's what I said too when I saw it. That builder needs a raise. I mean all the rest of them need to be culled to make the species better, but that builder is top shelf.
That was part of the Montana/Wyoming flooding
It did break apart a bit later though, after it hit a bridge. But there was no way any wooden structure would have survived that, no matter how well built.

What I will never understand is how people are amazed when the house gets flooded / destroyed when they build next to a river.
How about the fact they often get insurance payouts to rebuild in the exact same spot? Mind boggling insurance companies don't refuse to cover this.

I do not understand how other people don't understand that when a dog on a leash you're holding is charging away, you should hold the leash back behind you and off to the side, so that your arm has time to take up some of the energy and slow the dog, instead of ripping the leash out of your hands.
