    It would've been very informative to show how you got the ball joint back into the knuckle before torquing everything down. Thanks for the video!

    Thank you, exactly what I was looking for! I have 2014 Nissan Rogue with that exact problem and I thought it was brakes and before buying any parts I took off the wheel and saw the brakes were still decent, but could be replaced I looked at the ball joints and tires and bingo that's where I was getting that noise grinding when we turned the wheel

    Great video, how did u know itvwas the lower arm causing the tire wear?

    • @Fwerks.1592
      @Fwerks.1592  6 месяцев назад

      Good question!! The front suspension had a lot of play going through bumps! There are a few things that can cause bad tire wear issue. 1.bad tie rods, 2. Bad wheel bearing 3. A bad ball joint. In this case everything else was already replaced. Only thing left to replace was the lower control arm with the ball joint. That’s how I knew I had bad lower control arms.

    On this particular vehicle, you just put the control on. You don't need to adjust the right height in order to install them. The butchings on this one is not sideways like the other vehicles.

    Can anyone tell me if the 2015 rogue would have 2 total control arms or 4? I was told I need to replace four and then got a second opinion where the mechanic said I only have the two lower ones!

    • @Fwerks.1592
      @Fwerks.1592  6 месяцев назад

      For this vehicle you only have the large lower control arm and the ball joint is built into it. So 1 control arm assembly, then you have your tie rod. Not sure what the first mechanic was talking about.

    What is the “right height” when you jacked the arm assembly? Thanks

      Ride height.. the ball joint, would be just fine. The other end also. Cuz there is no swibble, amd the front end, the same.. but hey he did it..😂😂😂

    How can you call that under eight minutes to change the control arm when you keep editing the video and then jumping back on after you’ve obviously doing work while the video is cut on & off 25 times!!!

      Thank you for watching. The point is showing you how to do it. Most of these diy have an idea of how to get things out or fix. This is not a step by step video.

    What brand control arms did you use and how are they holding up ?

    • @Fwerks.1592
      @Fwerks.1592  6 месяцев назад

      I used carquest control arms. They are ok no issues, front end sounds solid at the moment even after putting 15k miles. Dorman solutions is a better option in my opinion.
