Reverb and Surround Effects Generator - Popular Electronics April 1996

I built this project about 5 years ago and wanted to show it off. BTW, when you listen to the audio from the song, I actually had the left channel output from my amp disconnected. An alligator clip was not making contact. However, I think you can still hear the reverb effects still with the right channel. Enjoy.

Excellent. I wish I had the attention span to finish something like that. I manage to muddle through a few repairs a month.
You're right on obsolete chips getting scarce; I suspect there's some forgotten in a dusty parts cabinet somewhere...
I sourced some from Bulgaria a few years ago, surprisingly they worked.
