    I don’t bathe my beardy often, only if she poops and walks in it bc then it would spread all over the tank 😂😂

      Haha that’s a very good reason to bathe them. Very acceptable 😁

    Sometimes I give mine a bath if he hasn’t pooped in a couple days or he has some skin thing where it clumps up under his armpit and if I don’t give him a bath it will layer up and get hard

    Do you need to put anything in their drinking or bath water because I am researching all the time to prepare for a bearded dragon and I have seen things about how you need to put something in their water to make it safe because of the chemicals in the tap water but I might be completely wrong!
    Great video by the way all your videos are really helpful 😁

    • @ChiefSweetsUniverse
      @ChiefSweetsUniverse  2 месяца назад +1

      Yes sometimes tap water has way too much chlorine due to water treatment reptisand will help with that although most just use tap anyway and nothing happens I use tap water myself without treatment

    What about misting the enclosure? My beardie enclosure humidity stays 40-60 without misting.

      Yeah you could in the wild they do run out during rainstorms to drink droplets. So it does work.

    Question!!! Pretty please!! I have a baby bearded dragon he's 4 months old. His ambient temperature on the hot side of his tank is 95-100 and his basking spot stays around 110-115. Is that ok? It varies depending on how many times I open his lid to pull him out and cuddle or feed him. I was told both of those are too hot and then someone else said it wasn't hot enough. Is that true? THANK YOU! I love your channel and I've learned so much from you!

    • @ChiefSweetsUniverse
      @ChiefSweetsUniverse  11 месяцев назад +2

      It is around max temps but not too bad. I will say 115f is absolute max temps so I would try and lower it by like 3f you can do this with a thermostat. Also anything hotter than what you have now is way too hot for sure.

      @@ChiefSweetsUniverse thank you!!!! Should I get a different lower basking bulb? Or should I left the light higher off the mesh. Right now I'm using the 50 watt thrive spot bulb

      Yeah it started getting popular recently about bathing them. You don’t have to at all though. You can watch the beardie vet talk about it on reptile and research’s podcast. Beardie vet is the worlds number 1 researcher on bearded dragons
