That would make no sense since there's a lot of different unfinished type boards, ebony walnut rosewood. Mahogany, there's some I'm probably missing, but you get my point

Rosewood needs oiling especially on steel acoustic guitars .... On nylon classical ones i didn't feel the difference..... On electric guitars I'm not sure about lemon oil for walnut fingerboards

I bought some 100% Lemon oil, but I later heard you can't use %100 lemon oil, too dangerous to do so. So I never used it on my Kramer rosewood. I also got some lighter fluid. I need to know all the facts. I'm not taking any chances!

The lemon oil is for conditioning.. NOT cleaning.

Not changed my strings for 6 months so I think it's about time I do and clean my fretboard, better than not cleaning my acoustic for a year and a half tho 😭😭

I first usually take off the visible gunk by scraping it off with a plastic card or something like that and then clean it with a lightly damp cloth and at the last rub in the lemon oil let it soak for sometime then clean off the excess if any.

Just be careful and make sure the products you use won’t damage the fretboard and remember that it’s always easier to add than to remove

I think that is lemon scented oil or something like that. Lemon oil WILL ruin your guitar.

Yeah it’s called lemon oil because of the smell. It isn’t acidic at all though.
