Bull elk sparring on top of I-90 Wildlife Overcrossing | October 2021

The elk rut was on last night-literally ON the Keechelus Lake Wildlife Overcrossing as two bull elk squared off and sparred over a small herd of cows right on top of I-90!

I can not begin to put in words how good seeing this over crossing makes me feel. As a former truck driver, I saw so much wildlife killed on our highways, it was a deep sadness. Thank you all very much.
