Good insight! Of all the cars, the ones I related to most were the 3rd car (which represents those who drift along in life with no real purpose), the 5th car (which represents those who struggle with commitment), and the 7th car (which represents those who prioritize partying over anything else.) It's been quite a journey, but I'm in a much better place in life than I was years ago.

Unfortunately, the sad reality is that they represent the elderly, who are no longer needed, cast off by society as they are no longer useful and worth keep around, with retirement homes generally treated as junkyards where they wait to die really, and of course the song is a juxtaposition of Cutting Edge, how “More more more!” twists into Worthless worthless worthless, and the unfortunate life of these cars is that they’re material possessions who will wear out and inevitably be replaced, another commentary on consumerism of this movie

Very good insight. It is sad about the elderly. Great mediphor of a nursing home being a junk yard I never thought of that. Plus didn't notice the three times more more more and worthless were said. You're very intelligent and love your analysis. Thanks for watching too

Oh yeah, I’d say for those who don’t have religion, a better metaphor would be saying like faith in general of controlling your destiny and living your one life under your control with your own sense of free will
