There aren't many bands around any longer who, if they could see eye-to-eye, would still be what they once were. Mark, Don and Mel got GFR going and they're all still alive and vibrant. What a great thing it would be for them to set their differences aside and reunite for a tour. Heck, they could even bring Craig Frost along, I don't care. It's too late for 3 Dog Night, but not too late for these guys if they would do their fans a nice favor and tour together one last time. Then we'd hear Don sing "We're an American Band" and Mark sing "I"m Your Captain;" together, the way it should be.
That is Don's choice from what I understand. For me, way more pumped to to see Mark Farner live than the current line up of GFR. There is no GRF without Mark. Mark is the heart and soul of GFR.
Any drummer worth his salt could replace Don or bassplayer ,Mel. Give me a freakin' break. I played bass in 4 groups and sang. Mark Farner is the irreplaceable part dude.He was the main writer and musical force in Grand Funk. Learn your band history.
Many are saying that there is no GFR without Mark, but Mark isn't even singing. So you've got the one original guy in a band that doesn't sing. And two other guys in another band that don't sing either. So what is the difference if neither band is using the original singer?
Yes continue too preaching 😊
I'm so stoked I'm going to see Mark Ferner again, October in Michigan.
HE IS AN AMERICAN ICON.
THIS MAN IS THE GRAND FUNK THATS THAT.
Amen brother, American Band!!!!!!👍😎🇺🇸

it's all up to Don.....
You got that right. Again, even if they only did it for their fans' sake. Thanks for your comment.@@salthedrummer1
Don Brewer's Ego wont allow it. What an idiot! It would be one of the most successful world tours ever! He is stupid.
@@salthedrummer1 Too bad Don's a backstabbing asshole.
YEAH!!!! This sticks it to those GFR posers don and Mel. GO MARK!!!! This drummer smokes it and sings it great.
