woah! thank you all so much for the kind words, i'm gonna continue to make videos on a wider variety of topics [not just politics] and see what sticks with me. Thank you again for the nice comments! :)
Thanks for this hot take. Penguins have actually abolished the bourgoise class now (since everyone is on private servers now.) Now we need to get rid of the punishment system or reduce it because its still pretty inhumane
I think that, in the club penguin private servers that have gained popularity since the original game’s close, we actually have achieved the Marxist utopia! Everyone is automatically a member, so no more hierarchy exists. While the account bans still exist, the rules are a lot more lax now, so it’s at least a step in the right direction. As someone who was never a member in my childhood, it’s actually so nice and seems to have solved literally all the problems that I ever had with club penguin?? Like I think it’s perfect now?? And we should build our society based on club penguin?? Idk just an idea
I think the dojo is more of a meditation house than anything culty/religious. Kind of a place to hang out, share a certain philosophy but mostly clear your mind and you can always freely leave anyway In all seriousness, I’m looking forward to your next vid already
I was talking just the other day on twitter about how I (a non-member) used to come together with my other non-members fellows during events and parties on Club Penguin to rally against the injustices we suffered. I was like 12/13, and had no idea about what capitalism or communism meant, and I still did a Marxism. We all did. It's so funny I bumped into this video lol did you read my mind? You did a great job btw =)
But there WAS private property. The sport shop belonged to Gary (before the popcorn explosion), the pizzeria most likely belonged to the unnamed chef you see in the missions, and the coffee shop may have belonged to the barista.
the owners of the means of production are clearly the devs, they decide what facilities will be built and what jobs are available, as well as how much players are rewarded for their tasks
I would probably argue that celebrity idols are fueling capitalism further by pushing the idea that any member of the proletariat can have success just like they have achieved by working within the systems already set in place. Penguins will consume products recommended to them by celebrities as well. There's no specific examples of this kinda thing that I can think of off the top of my head in club penguin, but the principle still applies imo.
I always think the penguins should be excellent merchants. As you said, they gain most of their resources from outside the island, e.g. they must get their coffee beans from somewhere like Africa, right? Although Rockhopper looks like a pirate, I don't think he robs, because if the penguins really want to rob someone, they would just send the ninjas who have superpowers. Rockhopper would be some sort of a leader of the CP trade union, and distribute stuff to the penguins from time to time, while Aunt Artic as head of EPF manages local security, and Sensei trains ninjas to denfend the island from intruders. Meanwhile, peasant penguins work hard on digging the mine, gaining food like fish and crops, and running small business. I am not at all familiar with Marxism. Does this fit the picture?
This was a brilliant video. I'm so happy the algorithim brought me here. You have such a chill but informative style that I want to see applied to more content!
Where the libertarian right is for power to the individual, marxism is for the dissolvment of the idea of individualism and is for equality. Libertarian right and Marxism are opposites to each other. Likewise, where fascism and monarchy has it's highest value as stability, the opposite of that would be anarchism. Lib right's highest value is freedom Left is equality Auth right is stability And Anarchism is chaos Everyone to a certain degree values each of those points. And when looking at Club Penguin, it's hard to see really any of these as the main value. It isn't equal. There isn't private ownership. They do seem to want stability, but there is no monarch or anything like that. And since there is no government and everyone is free to do what they like (unless they aren't a member), it's similar to anarchism. Overall, you can't really put Club Penguin... Well... Anywhere on a politial graph. It's like it's an idealized utopia that is right in the center of all things.
How nice to see something about Club Penguin and real world and fish-meshing it with political ideology. So cool and clever. Thank you for making this video. I must make videos about it
By the way, on Christmas or New Year club penguin contributes to the "Coins for Change" which is kinda interesting by it self. In addition to the fact they had western holiday like Christmas and Halloween (fan favorite party)

Woah, that's so true
Moderators are arguably a ruling class with governing power over other penguins. Penguins can get salaried steady jobs such as EPF Agent or Tour Guide
I think he is analysing the fiction of club penguin, not the meta concept of it as a site

Not the video we wanted, but the video we needed
They should use this video in classrooms to explain how Marxism works, I found it to be educational as well as entertaining
as a lifelong club penguin fan and marxist, i clicked on this video very quickly
you're proud to call yourself a marxist?
@@hanselsgrettles5755 the red scare is over
Wow a single video channel that really had a banger; 100% success rate we love to see it
But there WAS private property. The sport shop belonged to Gary (before the popcorn explosion), the pizzeria most likely belonged to the unnamed chef you see in the missions, and the coffee shop may have belonged to the barista.
That's the thing; the abolition of it implies movement toward Marxism.
in private servers of club penguin everyone's a member so maybe that comes a little closer? great vid btw
I will bring strong capitalistic ideology to all the private servers I can find
No Tom don't do that
the owners of the means of production are clearly the devs, they decide what facilities will be built and what jobs are available, as well as how much players are rewarded for their tasks
Now this is the political content I wanna see
Fascinating! It’s like the red scare again, but with penguins, so get ready for that I guess. Loved it!
i thought your channel was big, great job! Your video appeared on my recommendations
My recommended is getting really weird
This is not how I expected to spend my afternoon but I can't say I'm disappointed
remember folks! even Club Penguin couldn’t achieve it, and it’s a fictional world!
We did though, new club penguin private servers have all eliminated memberships
I watched one "history of club penguin" video and now I'm here. Love it
absolutely loving this video, thank you so much
LETS MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT CLUB PENGUIN TOGETHER PLEASE
Herbert is the lumpen. Also, couldn’t moderators be seen as somewhat of a governing body? They’re there to make sure rules are followed
this popped up on my feed n i cant explain how nicely this was worded and creative to watch. wonderful job! :)
finally, my recommended is giving me good shit
thoughts on celebrity idols in Club Penguin? is that not an extension of religion in a way?

@@chachi_drs well, many idols tend to also sell merchandise that lets other penguins dress as them. kinda fucked up.
this is the greatest thing ive ever seen
Curious to see the next video if you intend to do more things like this. I need more long-term content like this.
You forgot club penguin private servers which to me seems like the October Revolution with a classless society
Club Penguin îs really just plain consumerism buy buy buy. Your rare items give someone prestige.
Needa see what else you have to offer. Subscribed
