- The Good Shepherd International School (GSIS), nestled in the breathtaking Nilgiris Hills of Ooty is India’s #1 ranked fully residential international co-educational school (Education World 2022-23). Set across 150 acres of lush campus, GSIS provides a serene, secure, and engaging environment for academic excellence while nurturing the emotional and intellectual development of students. With 24 boarding houses, GSIS provides a happy and healthy environment with opportunities to enhance community living, alongside creativity and learning.
GSIS offers International Baccalaureate (PYP, MYP, and IBDP) for Grade 3-12 students, an Indian curriculum with ICSE and ISC Programme, and a Cambridge curriculum (CP, CS, and IGCSE). The school launched its IB Programme with the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) in 2001 and has undergone four 5-year IBDP evaluations. In 2023, GSIS became an authorized IB World School. GSIS is also an examination center for Trinity College London, SAT and IELTS.
