    Hi, my name is Worth Gregory and I am a former Division 1 Football coach with multiple years in the coaching world. I played football at Alabama out of high school where I was lucky enough to win a National Championship. Then I transferred to ECU where I was a 3yr starter, all-conference, captain, and most of all graduated with a college degree.
    I’ve been through the recruiting world, played at a high level, got a shot at the NFL, and had the chance to coach the game I love in front of 100,000+. Now I’m looking to spread my knowledge to the next athlete/family to help them understand the process and get the opportunities that I had.

    So no to camps? Our son has received some emails about attending their camps from "college coach", some look like a generic email that might be sent to the masses ,another has the coache's info and twitter etc. but we question if this helps or not?

    • @WorthGregory
      @WorthGregory  3 года назад

      Yes to camps if a specific coach has contacted you or if you are on their board. But for example, going to an SEC schools camp but not having contact or previous D1/D2 offers means it will hard to be on their radar. Unless your son has an amazing day.

  • @nigga1366
    @nigga1366 3 года назад +2

    So I got mail from a D2 head coach inviting me to a camp I’m going but is it worth going? Or is it just a letter they sent to thousands of other Highschool kids?

    • @WorthGregory
      @WorthGregory  3 года назад

      It depends, if you have had contact with their staff or if your head coach has talked to their staff. Still could be a good opportunity

    How long should a highlight video be to get recruited?
    Also keep making videos they are extremely helpful and appreciate u taking the time to do this for young athletes.

    • @WorthGregory
      @WorthGregory  4 года назад +3

      Jay AdaVar first off thank you bro! Anything to help y’all out! And your highlight should be as long as it can be with clips that help you out. Just keep in mind that the first 60 seconds will decide a lot. If you’re first 4 clips aren’t head turning they won’t continue watching.

      Like coach said there are scholarships available at the D3 level. They are not athletic scholarships but academic and merit scholarships are available. Reach out to D3 coaches and if they want you to be a part of their program they will help you financially.
