Don’t let your size stop you. I didn’t think my son would get any offer. He is 5’7” RB But he worked really hard and proved it. Posted 1000 yard back to back season. He received a lot of D3 fewer D2 and no D1 though. He is now playing in division 2 level.
Did your son start playing d1 now? What happened
I’m 5foot 5 I’m working so hard. I’m starting on varsity as a freshman right now.
@@taylenpayne3940 yr a freshman your going to grow to atleast 5”9 just get stronger faster smarter by watching film and better by doing drilld keep working stay consistent never give up and you will make it
If you dont check the height box, you have to be super strong everywhere else. You can't be short, slow, weak and built like a Pillsbury doughboy
100%. Control what you can control
Some athletes just need to change position and lose some damn weight. I went from DL on JV to Linebacker on Varsity to SS on college D2 (National Champion) to practice squad for 2 yrs but I get a 9 to 5. This is a individual effort most football high school coaches will not tell their under size players to lose weight and play another position
I’m 5’6 DB I play corner and over hang in high school what u think?
Keep working. You're probably still growing
Is a 5'10 junior at DB tall enough
Sure. You're just fine. Work on your skills and IQ
I’m 5’4” on the short side, I’m a high school graduate I played everywhere on the field and was a starter even if the coach told me no way I was going to be one 😂 my dream is to make it to the NFL :\ unfortunately I don’t think my height allows me, what’s your advice?
Control what you can control. Max out your football IQ. Work hard on your technique and you can never have too much speed. You're probably best playing as a slot WR. You will have your best chance of winning your matchups at that position. Make sure your hands are on point.
whats your hudl
I’m a 5’8” DB Senior with offers from D2 schools how can I go D1?
Run fast, get Picks, have amazing footwork/knowledge, and impress at in-person camps.
Search brennan presley on hudl you gotta be like that dude
I’m trying to go D1 for basketball but I’m 5’7 at 15
Work on the things you can control: speed, IQ, toughness.
Do you have a video on the best football cleats?
I’d recommend either adizero 8.0 or nike vapors. It depends on your position really so get cleats that suit your position. I have adizero 8.0 and they’re pretty good.
No not currently
Glad it helped. Some things need to be said.
Can I go d1 if I’m 5’8 at RB and am extremely fast
Well how fast? Auburn signed a RB 5 years ago that's 5'6" but ran a 10.4 100 meters
@@GridironStuds 4.4 40yd
And I looked at the transfer portal and there are a lot of 5’8 5’7 5,9 RB and I’m only a freshmen
@@iamflash8825 A lot of guys in the transfer portal never leave the transfer portal so don't base much off of that
I'm 5'4 going into freshman year of high school and I want to play qb but I think I might switch over to slot because I think it will put my odds of getting scholarships higher what do u think
If you think that you have skills and desire to put in the work at slot WR I say go for it. QB can be a very prejudicial position when it comes to certain attributes so height could be an issue.
Hey I am 5 foot 4 in middle school is that bad
You're in middle school. Don't worry about your height. Focus on improving your skill level and football IQ.
U have tips on weight lost ? Gained some from quarantine
Eat more protein, watch your sugar and salt intake. Eat more vegetables. Lay off of the fried and fast foods. Don't eat past 8 pm and if you do eat fruit and nuts instead. And of course, start running
I’m 5,6 and want to play rb am I too short?
No I don't think so. Being shorter can be an advantage at RB. Hopefully you can grow some more but of all the positions, you will likely be the least discriminated against a RB. Just please make sure you work on your speed. Run track. Having speed will offset any height issues coaches would have.
@@GridironStuds thank you so much I run about a 4,9 so I need to improve speed
Yes, you want to get faster
I’m a freshmen RB/Slot WR at 5’8 is that bad?
5’8 is not considered short
